do you realise how big of a sponsor Red Bull is? I'm not even sure how virus even managed to get a sponsor like red bull with a site that looks that poor..
and websites don't cost as much as you think they do.

Maybe the owner owns the red bull F1 car? Since he is involved in F1 racing... Just a guess

I heart virus team owner is millionnaire who owns two F1 teams :S. Pretty crazy And Virus is french team with many Finnish players on it You must be talking about dietrich mateschitz, the co-founder of Red Bull energy drink company. to which i say.. WHAAAATT? i've heard nothing about that :| do you have a source? I wouldn't call outright bullshit on it because red bull have always been about sponsoring the less mundane sports.. but dietrich is a crazy marketing guy, you'd have thought he'd be drumming up hype all over the place if he actually owned the team. Also, he's most definitely a billionaire, not a millionaire :x http://www.clan-virus.net/page.php?18guess its just red bull not him personally sponsoring them. (would it find kinda wired for a 65 year old to get his own esports team, even though it would be awesome :DDD)
While he may not be 65, I know Gilbert Arenas sponsored Final Boss at one point (he still may).

Oh well, best of luck to him.
Well if you look at some of the top players match history, you'll see that they practise against many players that aren't on their team, so I don't think this would stop him from playing games against mous players. I watch Morrows custom games sometimes and it's not too often I see mouz players on there.

Virus is a french clan. Noone really knows actually how they can have money for such a roster.

Since both Red Bull and Halo 3 have been mentioned here i find this quite fitting. Red Bull have had the Halo pro Walshy (formerly on final boss) sponsored for quite a while now, so it doesn't really shock me to see them moving over to Starcraft as well because it is a much bigger game. OT: Strange to see Naama leave Mouz, always thought that he would have been one of the people to stay on it, but i guess if he leaves he leaves

In an interview for the Finnish e-sports site sett.fi Naama says roughly the following:
"Virus Gaming contacted me and made a damn good offer. After a discussion with the managers of mouz I decided to join Virus. In Virus I get the same benefits as in mouz, but considerably better support (money?)."
Here's a link to the article in case you want to Google translate or something: http://www.sett.fi/?q=node/635

No. LOL. Enlighten me with your endless knowledge.

well virus is still quite a decent team, and has many divisions for different games. Also you have take into account that in mouz he was pretty much the "worst" of the top players (morrow, strelok, mana, hasuobs) are all probably getting more team benefits than him, where in virus he is pretty much their #1 player and will probably get rewarded accordingly.
|
I think we will see a lot more of the proplayers transfer to other teams once nasl season 1 goes live.
|
Finally we won't have MaNa, and Naama on the same team :D No more mixups ^^
|
FYI redbull sponsored our paintball team... we only played regionally too.. . so its not exactly hard to get a sponsor if you can help them get there name out and attend events.

|
If my memory serves me right there was an interview with morrow a while back where he basically said that mouz couldnt afford for him to go to some tournament, when asked about why he didnt attend it. Probably similar situation for Naama and from Virus he now gets better support allowing him greater reach in terms of travel.

Hmm. After dreamhack he kinda fell off the map, where as the other strong terrans stayed strong. Maybe mous didn't feel like he was worth it anymore

None of these moves have anything to do with NASL.

Maybe mous didn't feel like he was worth it anymore Actually I feel like many EU terrans have that problem. Cant think of a single dominant terran player (besides obviously Jinro), with Demuslim being unable to play and Sjow being pretty inconsistent. Its pretty safe to say that the terran domination that existed a few months back is over.
