They are not holding him responsible for the fake votes. They are taking him off the standby list because he only had 43 legit votes. He was only on the standby list because they thought he had over 23,000 votes.

The standby list is a list of people who aren't included in the 50 invites to NASL. It was a list that will be used to replace an invite who doesn't do what is required to be part of NASL.

They indeed were saying that they were holding me responsible. Later, they backtracked and said the other bs. I already knew I wasn't going to be in it, but awesome of them to accuse me of hacking/cheating when I have zero history of ever doing so nor would ever do so.

1. They are accusing you.
2. You say you aren't and complain about it.
3. They say they aren't accusing you.
4. You say you aren't and complain about it.

So let's not talk about this in this thread? Issue has been resolved.
Night gathers, and now my watch begins. It shall not end until my death. I shall take no wife, hold no lands, father no children. I shall wear no crown and win no glory. I shall live and die at my post. I am the sword in the darkness.

Actually that wasn't really an apology. Xeris doesn't actually own up to his personal attack against Avilo in the so-called apology. It was more of Xeris is sorry that it blew outta control.

Wow , its like fighting my ex wife( and i mean my ex for a reason) no matter if I apologize or admit I'm wrong.... show evidence that I wasn't wrong, It just doesn't matter. She keeps calling me and asking for another apology. They closed the other thread, and it over here, please let it be over Avilo. Or write what you really want, in detail, so Xeris can do it and lets get on with it.

Liquid`Tyler put it best in his 1st post in this thread. (the original thread)

I can see 3 things in this:

1)people are idiots.
Insulting and bashing individuals, writing crap and abuse just for the fun of it. Pathetic!

2)as far as i can see, the NASL guys did accuse Avilo directly of cheating, without proofs, which is obviously unprofessional and wrong on a moral level. They apologised , sort of.

3)any online voting system is a stupid idea. This things get haked all the time. Put 400k at the end of it and what do you get? I'm sure there are many, many more "fake" votes in there.

So they did accuse you and came to take it back, realising they were wrong in doing so.

You were in consideration of the league solely based on votes, so fake votes or no votes, you were not going to be in the league either way. So they took back the accusations quite quickly after your first response to it as I've understood it and have publicly apologised for it as well.

Since you were never going to be partisipating in the league anyway and you got your apology as well, what is your purpose to keep on with your bla bla bla now ?

Sorry to hear about the issue that happened with NASL(To Avilo.) Sorry to see that Xeris didn't actually apologize properly maybe no one has mentioned this because since Avilo is complaining he comes of as annoying to more people, and that just creates more dislike for the person who was wronged, that's kinda how the world works sadly.

If Xeris could actually apologize properly. "Not for the first PM" for everything and at least just reinstate him on the list. If you have no proof, and you have a tournament in America, You know the laws here "Innocent until proven Guilty" You guys penalized him and shrugged it off and laughed at him.

If you've seen Avilo play, he's not that bad and from what I've seen he has improved since MLG.

To Xeris, just apologize properly for the whole fiasco and fix the issue. This issue is making the NASL tournament less interesting rather than more. Also it's really bad to start something like this off on a bad note.

Dreamhack is a good example of turning something bad into something good/cute. Do it with this too. Let him compete in a qualifier or something then. He's good enough to compete professionally already, so he doesn't need to cheat.

He beat VTPokeBunny Bo3 Pokebunny is a decently known name and considered to be a top tier player too. He's played in a lot of small tournies on his own too.

And hey I've never watched the guys stream, or knew the guy till I saw him compete in a tournament recently and was like "This guy is actually pretty good" I was watching a TvT where he wasn't making any mistakes, while his opponent was getting worn out and making mistakes. Long matches, yeah. But guess what? He won.(Wasn't able to find the tournament to post it sorry.)

Anyway gg Avilo, hope Xeris actually apologizes for EVERYTHING and fixes what he did wrong. And yeah Xeris you made a mistake man up MAN UP!

I apologized. There was no mistake about the votes - they were fraudulent. I'll apologize again though. I'm sorry for the accusatory tone of the first PM I sent to you, and I'm sorry for any confusion that resulted from that. Avilo's name was removed from consideration for an invite because the actual number of votes he received doesn't put him in that discussion. I made a mistake by responding to him improperly and I won't be doing that again!

Just throwing this out there, because a lot of people are simply taking him at his word. If avilo did not spam the votes himself, then who did, and what could possibly have been their motivation?

From NASL's standpoint, an unknown signed up to NASL and faked thousands of votes to get to the top.

a) Reasonable to get angry if NASL removed entry for only suspecting fake votes, i.e. hunch; on this unknown.
b) Unreasonable to get angry if NASL removed entry after suspecting fake votes and confirming it.
c) Unreasonable to get angry with person x, when case b) is true and person x temporarily accuses person y, who is unknown, of possible cheating.

Where will we be able to see the announced players? <3
