yeah...i may be making a blog post about this later because it's pretty much garbage what they are doing. I'll just say here that as far as xeris has told me so far, they removed me from the voting site (and worse) because they somehow think I personally cheated the voting system.
So the word is so far, because of their own faulty system that anyone on the internet can troll, they are personally holding me responsible, saying I hacked/cheated for fraudulent votes on a site that I have no control over.
I'll probably make a post about it later on TL if they continue to refuse to clear it up with me. Pretty unprofessional on their part, and I sincerely hope they don't treat all potential players like this.

yeah pretty rediculous avilo, i mean you are for sure the most popular starcraft 2 player by far

Actually, no. Obviously the polls were trolled because someone was trolling them. Everyone knows that.
But that's not their reasoning for removing me. I was told that they are saying I personally hacked/cheated the polls for votes, and that they were removing me from the site + standby list of players to be in this thing.
So, to sum up what I have been told so far, NASL is calling me a hacker/cheater because some random troll on the internet hacked their system.
How does that make any logical sense at all? Does that mean if trolls right now or any random person on earth with an internet connection cheats for some known players votes, they are going to call them a cheater and delete them from the site + remove them from the NASL?
I don't care if you're not a fan of mine, or like/don't like me. Any person with common sense can see how wrong that is.

I'm sorry but I have to ask. Do you honestly think you are a top 50 player in the world? Why are you fighting so hard to get into this?

Clearly there could be no greater travesty than Avilo (yes, THE Avilo) not getting into the NASL.
If the King or Queen of Burma (do they have a king/queen? Whatever, it doesn't matter) left me a message saying I was barred from entering their country for one year, it wouldn't matter. I have no plans of going to Burma and you have no chance of getting into the NASL. Voting will count for an unbelievably small % of the reasons a person will get into the top 50, and you should be focusing your attention on the other reasons, not the votes.

Avilo you have now set yourself up as the villain to the NASL+ Show Spoiler +and with all your bitching and moaning its well deserved ... I think that easily the best thing you could do is practice and with the 1024 man Open... That would be heroic to see you in the league after all this controversy
|
So when are we getting the first 5 players?
|
I just want them to release the list of players who will be in it damn. Lol.
|
The first 5 players will be released today
|
I was looking for maybe a time or ETA, I like to keep tabs on this kinda stuff to hype myself. Looking forward to the announcement, thank you Xeris!
|
Are you guys retarded? Whether or not avilo gets in or not is beside the point. NASL accusing players for hacking/cheating when they are innocent shows an incredible lack of professionalism. Especially when its such common knowledge why avilo's vote totals are so high.
|
Is NASL still starting on April 4? Doesn't say so on page 1 of this thread

1st of all, no one can really be sure that he is innocent just because he says so. 2nd thing is that he didn't get removed because they THINK HE cheated. He was removed because they KNOW that SOMEONE made all those fake votes. Avilo wasn't supposed to be on that standby list in the first place, and know he isn't. NASL sad that votes were fake, avilo said it wasn't his fault. End of story. Believe what you want but I don't really see how NASL did anything wrong to avilo.
|
Saying the votes were faked is different than holding someone personally responsible for the faked votes.

They are not holding him responsible for the fake votes. They are taking him off the standby list because he only had 43 legit votes. He was only on the standby list because they thought he had over 23,000 votes.
The standby list is a list of people who aren't included in the 50 invites to NASL. It was a list that will be used to replace an invite who doesn't do what is required to be part of NASL.

Xeris ETA on announcing the participants?? You r killing us!!!!!
