Itd be extremely sad if they actually looked for a caster at craigslist. So many good casters would've missed the opportunity. Imagine GOM looking for code A casters at craigslist.. ;D

Ya I wonder this myself... does cops really get that good of ratings? It just seems like if they had ONE special event then it may attract people who aren't even starcraft 2 fans to watch it just because it is new and interesting. If it wouldn't go over all too well then they could stop, but at the same time they may be surprised by the number of viewers. To reiterate one more time... I don't think SC2 on TV would do significantly worse than Cops... even if it were to do worse. Meh.

why do you think they moved there, and cast the gosu-coaching team games together all the time? pretty sure for something as hyped as this, they wouldn't leave the casting job to a craigslist post at the last minute

I doubt the problem is viewers, but the fact that it would cost A LOT more money to produce a sc2 show than it does to play cops reruns.

I don't like the name at all. GSL is not the "Asian-Pacific Islander League", why would they name this league after the continent? Will South American Players be excluded? Will European players be excluded? Name makes no sense.

A Starcraft League played in North America? And it's called the North American Starcraft League? How does that make no sense?
