Dunno how to say it in nicer words tho Well it's like the gsl but accessible for american players, This means that if theres a tournament the size of the gsl in america, american teams will have a bigger incentive to get better as the prize pools and hopefully sponsorships should increase, you'll start to see some team houses and the skill of north american players will most likely increase a shit load. Making this amazingly good, why would you not get excited? sc2 is getting big outside of korea. | ||

It is quite a good timing too, I think. In my understanding SC2 isn't that big in SK right now. In my opinion the 'leading' place of sports is always to a very big part determined by the prize money. If NASL catches on quite quickly I see a very good possibility that the prize money in the NA tournaments (not only NASL) will soon be higher than the ones payed for SC2 tournaments in SK and thus 'steal' away the focus. All in all it seems like to me like: Now, or never. It should be a good time and I feel quite optimistic about it. P.S.: If the announcement is something else (which I judge very unlikely by now): TL + EG should *really* start working on a NASL... But as I said, I have almost no doubts that this is what will be announced. | ||

edit: I think this will be better than gsl, much much better, because WE will be the primary audience, not the secondary audience like the korean GSL. Not to mention tha tgame is just BIGGER out here, means a larger audience and more competition, and hopefully more MONIES. and YUCK to whoever wanted husky commentating, husky is the WORST, HD is tolerable... but day9/inc/other gosu coaches would be much better commentators.... High level players make the best commentators. | ||
