I'm pretty sure most TLers would shed tears watching this or at least be blinking to cure their watery eyes. It's just what Boxer does. He's one of the few guys who can actually make you react in that way. P.S. Largely because of this I dug up the TL-translated version of Boxer's autobiography. To be brutally honest, it's not very well-written. However, as a SC/Boxer fan, I'm sure most people would enjoy it (I sure am). It's really short, too, so I'm almost all the way through it even though I just pull it out when eating lunch and stuff (I painfully made each page a PDF, combined them all and then made it into an epub file for my iPhone). The link is possibly somewhere in this thread, but here it is for those of you who don't want to dig for it: clicky clicky!

It's not that he isn't wanted in any team, it is because he is so huge that he can creat his own team. Having a team means getting more sponsors and earn more money. Boxer is a great StarCraft player but his days playing SC is getting short. Soon he will probably start a family with his wife who is eight years older than him and that will not combine well with a SC2 career not knowing if you will win or not. Having a team secures income and if you are a coach you will earn a solid wage.

Btw, Boxer is already a millionaire so money is probably not an issue for him anymore.

I am sure that team which have Boxer in its lineup, will suddenly find alot of sponsors. Btw, Boxer is already a millionaire so money is probably not an issue for him anymore. Boxer have earned a lot of money, but I doubt it is enough to sustain a family for 20+ years. And we also have to take into consideration that SlayerS only have existed about six months, not nearly enough to establish themselves as the top tier team. But they still get people into competitions and GSL have it's share of up and comers from SlayerS. It is true that a team with Boxer in it would do good on the sponsor aspect, but that would also require him to constantly play and add more pressure to his personal life. With his own team he can take a more passive role as a coach, and there are also coaches and mentors already established among the other teams so it would probably be easier to just make a team of your own. That is what I think any way.

Lim has a record with 547 wins and 416 losses (56.80%)[1] in his professional career. He is one of the highest-paid professional gamers, with annual earnings that exceed $300,000 US Dollars and endorsement contracts that bring in an additional $90,000 per year.[2] In 2004 he was voted the greatest gamer of all time by readers of ESReality, a popular Western electronic sports website, and in June 2006 he was included in an MTV list of "The 10 Most Influential Video Gamers Of All Time."[3] [edit] from wiki. as long as he hasn't been spending 2/3 of it every year, id say hes set.
