They want the player with the most fans, because fans=money.

WTF?! Not to bash Brat_OK, he's a good player, but how the hell did he got THAT many votes? I don't even see him play that often....
My votes would go for:
Socke: Easily the most entertaining and creative Protoss there is - I don't really like seeing Protoss play, but if Socke is playing, I'm tuning in. Also a very strong player overall.
MorroW: C'mon - I loved him in the early stages of the beta, cuz he didn't abuse T, then I hated him for abusing T and now he's playing Zerg and I love him again. Easily one of the best players outside of Korea.
White_Ra: Beast from the East man! And he seems to do incredibly well lately.
HuK/Tyler: At least one of those US Protoss-beasts deserves a spot in GSL Code A. But I guess Tyler won't be going to Korea, due to his commitments to "just chill". ^^'

Can we please ban/get rid of all of the 1 post "I VOTE BRATOK"?
These people don't seem to understand that GOM isn't taking a vote. John made this thread for people to DISCUSS who is worthy of being selected and none of these spam posts are contributing to the discussion at all.

That's what I'm getting at. Gom could look at that and not want him to go to Korea for that very reason. He might be a very good player, but they're more than likely going to look at who's been more successful internationally.

I dont understand why are you so aggressive towards the russians. you seem obsessed with getting rid of something that will have no impact on the result. and why should they get banned if they are real people and not multiaccs? you've been posting here for some time now and you only argue with them which i dont get at all.

Morrow switched to zerg and his level isn't that high yet IMO. and besides he's like 17 years old or something. i doubt that he can go. White_RA and Tyler won't/can't go. Socke might be a good choice but i'd rather see Huk(if i had to choose a toss)

Terran - Brat_OK Zerg - Dimaga Protoss - Socke
The best possible option for me is to send Dimaga and Bratok together. They're really good friends since SCBW.

Because it is annoying for GOM and anyone else interested in reading this thread to go through and see a bunch of useless spam voting for a player that would get crushed in the GSL. Unlike these 1 post accounts, I actually like to read the insightful posts people make, which is what TL is about. These posts are turning this thread into something it shouldn't be. It's supposed to be a discussion thread, not a poll.
As for the "aggressiveness" don't you see it as aggressive having thousands of people coming into a website that they have made no contribution to at all and spamming a thread they don't really understand?

<insert poorly worded message in support of Brat_OK here>

I'll make it short.
Huk - From what it looks/sounds like, he's drastically improved since he has been in Korea. Naama - Another great player. Won the 2nd biggest SC2 tournament in the world. And from what I recall he managed to take out oGsTOP who imo is very worthy of code S. KiWiKaKi - I feel that if he stayed in Korea during GSL 3 that he would have improved greatly. His play style is very entertaining to watch. DeMuslim - Maybe not right away, but after a few months in Korea I could see him being a good contender.

It seems you also didn't read the whole thread. If you did you'd know that Jinro and Nazgul both think BratOK has a chance as well as many other non-russian posters who have more than one post. This brings me to the part about the russian 1-post "spam" as you call it. It's been said over and over again that by saying "I vote for BratOK" they don't actually vote, they just think he is worthy and the thread is called "WHO IS WORTHY of competing in code A". They just don't know the language well enough to make a constructive post. And you are still aggressive for no reason.

HuK Dimaga Fenix Kiwikaki
I don't think Fenix gets enough attention because he's in South America. He is seriously good. Dimaga is a consistent performer and I think a good addition, particularly if WhiteRa isn't up for the move. Huk I think should have another shot, and Kiwikaki's play style will contribute some entertainment while his being in Korea should help round out his game.

I think you're missing my point, you just said the same thing you said before. My point is that if they don't know the language well enough to make a constructive post then they shouldn't post. I apologize for not being warm and welcoming to people who were mislead into believing that making spam posts here would get Brat_OK into the GSL. The only reason these people "think he is worthy" is that he is from their home country. As ret said before there are many more foreigners that are much more deserving of the 4 spots. Even this discussion between you and I is dumb as it too is derailing the thread from what it is supposed to be about.

Unless GOM makes a post in russian at the russian community site, how are they supposed to make themselves heard if not in this thread?

I'm pretty sure it's more then that. It's cool that they're voicing there opinion. But don't you think it would be kind of irritating for a lot of people on here that they're making accounts just to say they want him to go to compete in GSL? Majority of the posters saying they want BratOk to go probably will never post here again. That is what makes it absurd, its practically spam. Really need to consider that they're not going look at posters comments that made an account a few days ago.
Imagine if there was a huge Russian tournament going on and they posted on GoodGame.ru asking who they thought was worthy. And people from TL literally just make the account to say they want HuK/Ret/Jinro to go and never post again. Wouldn't you find that rather.. annoying?

Would it not make sense to start a thread like this on a russian-based community site and email it to GOM or something of the like?
Edit: And I'm sure something like this would be seen by GOM, John is a great guy and he would find a way to get it looked at.

Actually, I would also vote for Brat_OK. There are other people who also deserve an invite, such as HuK, but he will make it anyway because he is based in Korea and has enough opportunity to do so.
Brat_OK is an excellent player and I can imagine having an address for his permanent stay in Korea will help the guy acquire a visa much more easily. If he -wants- to go, GomTV should definitely send him an invite. He would do well in Korea and I would absolutely love to see him compete in code A, and soon after, code S.
Top notch player, Brat_OK.

Of course he did because Team Liquid has most of the best foreigners on it; people that train in Korea with the best players in the world that actually have shown that they are good enough to deserve an automatic qualifier in GSL.
