If you bring someone that's not from Korea to the GSL you atleast expand the foreigner base there and its obvious that Huk and Ret are better then most of Code A anyway so they shouldn't have troubles in the qual. tournament for code A.

Personally, i want to see all the potential candidates play bo3 against Jinro or Idra to see how they fare against Code S players. I dont want my favorites to enter the GSL. I want great players who can actually stand a chance to get a Code S.

You can't calculate the prohabilities of this, so your argument doesn't really fit. Also since the players are very close they might show other good abilities you can't know about (for example to keep cool in a presure situation like such a big tournement), but the can't show without having gotten shot.

I dont want my favorites to enter the GSL. I want great players who can actually stand a chance to get a Code S. I am sure GomTV has been in touch with the more visible pros from around the world to see if they are interested in participating in the GSL. I think this thread though is to poll the community in order to see who would attract the most viewers and potential subscribers if these foreign players were to participate. That is how they make their money after all.

O.o This thread seems to mostly consist of people voting for players who they would enjoy seeing play in the GSL or who they are fans. Most of it is not based on who is in a practical position to actually travel to Korea to participate. To be fair though, not everyone is aware of the current personal situation of every pro and whether or not they are in a position to participate. It would make it a lot easier if someone were to go around a just ask if the pro was available or not and perhaps keep an update list on the website for a GomTV representative to check on versus the interest of the community in seeing that player play. Maybe?

BratOK has a isue with EU visa ... as far as i know South Korea isnt in Europe or America. Let put it this way... Someone comes from Mexico to USA, get kicked out and can't reaply for a while... The same is with BratOK and EU.

Gom should look at foreign tournaments (especially offline tournaments) and see who's done the best in Europe and NA. Which makes it impossible for BratOk considering how he hasn't been able to attend any of the big LANs due to his VISA issues. =/

And it is the fans that buy subscriptions to GomTV's website and flood their page with views. I think one of things they are looking for is which player will attract the most attention from the gaming community and hopefully in turn money.
