The Russians haven't been this unified in their vote since they elected Stalin. And that turned out just fine.

I'm pretty sure artosis and tasteless will end up deciding who is worthy to come and that means relying on idra and team liquid for recommendations. You can pretty much count out any european or american that hasn't got at least 2nd in mlg or won a ton of major international tournaments. This is why it will probably have some players in korea (ret and huk) and also 2 players that they think would be able to excel in korea and have attempted to qualify before (like kiwikaki)

he asked for Code A.... HuK isnt in GSL yet (so maybe him)

but Ret was in Code A before so he'll probably get in by default

Haypro. Has consistently underperformed at all tournaments. He tends to lose with major mistakes. Not sure why he is still in korea when he has not been in top 400 of korean ladder for a while.

If you want to talk shit at least know what you are talking about.

Haypro might not be the best or having tons of medals to his name but saying he's bad based on information you seem to not have is rather saddening. Then he's been in Europe for past week and a bit(Where he placed top4 and won a tournament so far). If you want to judge a player at least know the facts before judging him.

Judging from the rest of your post it seems you don't really know the scene as much as you appear to think you do.

(P)KiWiKaKi is the #1 person I would like to see in Korea. The only thing is, he is the co-captain of root and they have no sponsor. If only he was part of EG or TL... His play is brilliant but needs the korean enviroment to grow. (just like HuK)

still no sponor? with all the sponor team poping up i thought they would get one by now. They seriously need a manager on the business side.

Sorry didn't realize he had returned to the top 200 recently (last month). The last time I checked the ladders was right before christmas and he was about #400 in korea but I guess he jumped to 181 and then to 106, good for him then. Sorry about being misinformed.

Edit; I edited my post to reflect this information, but then i found some more information here http://www.teamliquid.net/tlpd/sc2-international/players/1132_HayprO/games
Pretty unconvincing right now to be selected.

Everyone's just listing names but no one is going into anything. I can't believe they'll pick seatings on a TL popularity contest.

Huk deserves a shot. He's been at the top of western tournaments including 2 places at MLG, the biggest western tournament out there, and a win at the EG Cup. In Korea he has 2 accounts in the top 10? of the Korean ladder.

Huk for sure. Select, Dimaga (if he wants).

Other recommendations:
Morrow, Demuslim, White-ra (if he wants) Sjow and Fenix.
Hope is the first step on the road to dissapointment

I don't think this is necessarily a popularity contest. The people at Gom seem to be pretty competent and any discussion would certainly warrant some background checking of whatever players they might consider. Korea has youtube too... lol

I do think Tastosis will have a big impact on who gets invited but you never know about those things.

I think Incontrol, Huk, Kiwikaki, Select, Machine, Sen, QXC, TT1, or any other of the MLG placer have a good shot of making it and making a splash there.

What would be really cool if there was some sort of agreement with Gom and MLG, where maybe the top 2 of each MLG gets 2 of the invititational spots.

1) He's not co captain, drewbie and Catz are the two co-leaders. And they do have small sponsors, look at their website.
