Since it was recently confirmed that DeMuslim will be going to Korea, I think it would be worth it to give him a shot at competing for code a. He's really a very solid player and I think he would perform well.
good vibes only

Huk - Just look at the korean ladder, if anyone deserves to be in there it's Huk.
Sjow - A macro terran that shows a lot of potential, I think he's the best terran in Europe at the moment.
Dimaga - I don't think he's interested in going to Korea but no zerg in Europe deserves going to Korea more than him. Either way it wouldn't feel right not mentioning him.

I don't know who to pick as a fourth player, just don't pick Madfrog :/

But I want to see this person in GSL

He was asked, and said most likely he would go if invited.

I would byu gsl account if he goes there

I'm fairly certain they will only choose people who have won significant tournaments.

we just need to send over piqliq and actionjesuz to represent the foreign players... piqliq is rated #1 on the US masters league, and he's ahead of the 2nd place guy by nearly 100 points... and actionjesuz placed quite well at dreamhack so it's obvious he should have a shot at this...

Definately Brat_OK. He would bring some new strats to GSL, which are really needed there.

Yep, I'm from Russia and I say: [image loading] [image loading] BratOK. Just absolutely love his attitude towards the game.
And I believe that yesterday, on his stream, he said: "I am willing if they (koreans) are willing".

Participation of other three candidates of mine is quite questionable..
[image loading] [image loading] MaNa is 17 and probably finishing school/preparing for university.
Some people say that [image loading] [image loading] DIMAGA doesn't want to go to SK.
Although I desperately want to see [image loading] Grubby competing with koreans, I don't think he is ready just yet.
Only way to know the future is to make it.

Well imo, switching from NA/EU to KR style is almost like picking up a new game entirely. TLO is the only foreigner that managed to grasp that almost instantly, qualifying for both the GSLs that took place during his time in KR (Idra also, but he has been in KR since like 2009). So that being said when looking at players, what you see is almost irrelevant. The things to look at are (in order of importance) game sense, adaptability, and mechanics.

That being said: (also taking into account, the players ability to go to KR)
HuK is the obvious #1 choice seeing as he already has a firm grasp on KR style play, having 2 high ranked accts on KR ladder.

BratOK has one of, if not the best, game senses in the foreign scene. And ability to adapt quickly is great. Great mechanics, blatantly obvious if you watch just one game. (He could be in a coma, and still beat you with his awesome mechanics)

I'd have to give the other 2 spots to TeamEG and TL players (probably Haypr0 and Demuslim) given the fact that they will/already have a player house in KR. And I think any pro-gamer will agree that having a team to talk game and practice with, is REALLY important, and very crucial to enhancing their game play.

Side Note:

TLO would be the best choice out of anyone, but:

He's basically saying that he will not go back to KR in the next few months. (
(I actually found this after I gave Haypro and HuK my votes, yay for synergy)

I think BratOK would be a fantastic choice. He's been around the Starcraft scene for quite some time, and is always impressive. I also think LiquidHuK should be a shoe-in, the guy is insanely good.

HuK definitely, I know ladder doesn't account for much, but 2...in words TWO accounts in top 5 of the frickin most competitive ladder, that's just insane. I couldn't imagine anyone that deserved a spot over HuK right now.

Pretty sure hes a total boss now. But I see you included him in your top 4 anyway so its all good!

:D everyone included Huk in his top4
I think 99% of the TL.net community wants to see Huk in there.

1. He's very good (didn't know hes #4 and 5# in the ladder, thats new to me and wow it's pretty convincing!)

2. His playstyle is entertaining (it's Halo etc.)

3. He is a member of TL.net

noone can argue against that.

The amazing thing is is that when I watch Huk play I can see his potential for even better play. I truly think that he has the potential to be one of the best if not the best. He is constantly improving and it's a ton of fun to watch.

First of all, i apologies for my bad English and mistakes, as it's not my native language.
And the second. Many of you have mentioned above, that someone gave the link to this thread on one of biggest Russian cybersports related resource. Actually that was me, who did that and here is the case: i, myself, only know two places where one can vote for the player, who deserves to go to Korea and play on the next GSL season. These are this thread and the thread on the gomtv.net forums. Both places are very unlikely be visited by the majority of Starcraft 2 fans, who does not know English well, that includes Russian people too. That is some kind of a problem, so i, with my fellow comrades ;p decided to give it some polite, and we hope, non-aggroing solution.

Below here is some kind of statement to GSL representatives, wich is translated to Russian and reposted on the resource i mentioned above, there also step-by-step instructions, of how to "sign" to it here, or vote for BRAT_OK on GomTV forums.

Hello.
We, here, represent the part of Russian community, which is big and heavily interested in what you are doing. We all are watching for GSL games throughout the livestreams, and for the growing of SC2 players and community in South Korea. The Starcraft 2 game is very popular in our country, and we do have very good players here. BRAT_OK is the best Russian player now. That’s why we are voting for him to be one of the four invited players.
He is well known, the former SC:BW player, who showed more than nice results there, and also competes very well in SC2, all the way from the beta-test. His appearance on the GSL scene will attract massive attention not only of Russian fans, but also the viewers of the whole CIS region. But the major fact is that he is heavily motivated progamer, with a great skills and nice, unique playstyle. He deserves to go to the GSL, and we all are rooting for him
