As to the other three spots it's probably dependant on who's willing to go to Korea and who qualifies out of those already there. QXC and HuK stand out for me, not sure about the fourth. Would love to see TLO!

Having an SEA player in the GSL would be absolutely huge, and I'm sure everyone would agree he's a deserving player. He's been matching it with the top NA/EU players since forever, dominating the SEA scene and is showing he can compete with the best on the Korean server. Would love to see TLO! Moonglade, I wish we could see more SEA players as competitive scene spectators. It's easy enough to follow the american Korean and Euro scene players because the tournies are huge and have lots of online support, but SEA players get kinda left out unless they're willing to jump for an expensive plane ticket ![]()

Alot of europeans have proven to be inflexible in this regard (except a notable few), and almost all of the north americans as well. Huk was able to adapt through sheer force of will. But Incontrol definitely has the ability to do well, he's been bogged down a ton in foreign events due to being a part of everything, and he's proven when he sits down on focus's on starcraft (for about a week) he is good enough to qualify for the GSL, so why not give him a month and the ability to rock the world with his intelligence. Everything you said is about his potential ability to succeed, not about his demonstrated ability to succeed. Why would he be a better choice than HuK, who dominated NA tourneys for months on end, and Sjow, who dominates EU ones? They both could just as easily adapt (HuK is rank 7 on Blizzard's ladder), both have proven themselves to be superior players to iNcontrol, and there's absolutely no reason whatsoever to think iNcontrol would be better than them (because he hasn't been thus far) or that he's more intelligent than them (once again, because his intelligence hasn't been shown to be better thus far). Hypotheticals are fun, but they're meaningless.

Personally, i see no point in voting Liquid members who're already in Korea. They can go through the qualifications. The ones who deserve it most likely will get in that way. So a preference for people not inside Korea right now but good enough to perform there. It would get the foreigner count up. No point though in sending people who'd have a hard time getting settled. With EG setting up a gaming house and some EG members (Tasteless, Idra) living there, they'd be able to get going and keep going if/once they get in. And well, InControl is huge entertainment outside the game while being a solid player in the game. <3 He's one of those people who would add lots of flavour, personality to the player line-up of the GSL.
