I'm going to list people that are not currently in korea, and going by the Tourny wins and placing (which is what they are asking for)

Fenix [1st IEM New York 2010, top 8 blizzcon, 3rd DreamHack]
White-Ra [1st place HDH Invitational, 1st place TeamLiquid Invitational 1, 3rd place Blizzcon 2010]
Morrow [1st place, IEM Season V - Global Challenge Cologne]
Socke[1st place ESL Pro Series Germany, 3rd place MLG Raleigh]

didnt say huk or haypro cause they will be in code A on their own merits by this time

Why not naama for first place Dreamhack?

I thought about it, him or moonglade instead of white-ra whos married would be a good edited list.

1. Fenix (Absolute must in terms of talent, skill and achievements. If I had to vote for one guy, it would be him)
2. HuK (Not the most consistent player around, but probably still a notch above most western players)
3. DIMAGA (better than anybody else I could think of, I don't feel too strongly about picking him though)

Really not sure about the fourth. I would give it away to qxc, but he's going to Spain and probably wouldn't be interested. So I'm just going to go with HayprO as he's actually been practicing in Korea for a while now and is probably more "fit" to play on the Korean scene than anybody else would be if they were just thrown into Code A.

I don't really like the way this thread works though. A poll should be made with all the realistic options, rather than having people include Incontrol, Moonglade (who is good, but come on, it's a complete wildcard at the moment), Naniwa, or people who genuinely aren't interested in going.

HuK is probably the best foreigner at the moment.

As much as I'd like that to be the case, I doubt it. Unless you meant he's the best foreigner not already in Code S/A.

Personally i think the top 4 (varies from person to person) foreigners in korea who arent in Code A should be the ones.

To me it seems like this thread mostly is about who people like the best. You see americans obviously only voting for northern americans etc..
Yet there are probably like 30+ (probably way more) players in europe who are better than incontrol for example. there is a reason why quite a few northern americans go to the EU server to practise :p

Im not saying there no good american players, but i think especially out of the perspective of the americans they overrate themselves

Its hard to suggest people here, because quite a few of the people i would suggest probably wouldnt go, like Dimaga (said in an interview he doesnt want to leave his country coz of family etc), whitera (married), socke...

People who i think might want to actually go and are very good:
-Kas
-BratOK
-Huk
-Another Terran who has been successful lately, maybe naama strelok fenix qxc..

It doesn't seem really fair to conduct this kind of poll on one of the team's website does it?

HuK

Can't come up with any other player who could actually win something there.
Ofc it would be nice to see 20 new foreigners playing but i just don't see it happening right now.
What kind of sorcery is this?

Everyone is more likely to recommend or "overrate" someone they can find common ground with (not just nationality, although it is most prominent). EU is clearly not exempt from this tendency =P

ON topic: four players I would recommend are..

HuK
Sen
Haypro
Aaaand hmm...TT1 definitely deserves to be there.

Imo the people that deserve to go are;

1) Morrow - Rolled everyone hard as Terran for a while and are getting better and better as Zerg.

2) Fenix - Extremely talented Terran.

3) Huk - for being a bad ass Protoss.

4) BratOK - one of the best out there, only problem? VISA..

this + maybe mana if he would be up for it, some NA fans on this site seem fairly ignorant of the EU scene and even their own scene forgetting tt1, painuser and fenix alot, but between go4sc2, zotac and now the black dragon league weekly + alot more lans, iem, dreamhack assembly and the british poker thing etc, eu has a slight advantage in terms of competitiveness,

But you got to give it to incontrol creating this fanbase with alot less results compared to some other players is really impressive:D

Obviously because they are the TL-Players that are in Korea and have the ressources to train an play.
All other mentioned players are good but due to good reasons they are not the ones to play there(Family, Work and so on. Most of them are no Progamers in the meaning of making a living of it).

And TeamLiquid in the Team League...that would be so entertaining (and good for the Sponsors and the Money, TL needs it! )

PS: Oh Man I really hope Ret gets better...whats up with him? Ok but this discussion is not for around here...
