We should all really try to raise the posting quality in their honor as a sign of respect and to help more people be like them and take the community for a walk in the right direction, not just 1 step, a journey to being the biggest gaming community in the fuckin world!!!

I'm also wondering, why isn't there 1 section where pros can discuss amongst themselves? I mean yea it would take away from the whole everyone can post anywhere etc....but maybe it would encourage more high level discussions and people like me could read about what they say/do in certain situations of the game or w/e. Just a thought that came up :o

Reading the pros opinions on the game benefits the rest of us a lot. Thank you, dear sc2 pros. I completely agree with this, looking at the most recent top 200 ladder posts with everyone trying to give IdrA a hard time about leaving early and he gave some good intelligent non-rage responses. Not to mention Liquid Ret coming into back him up and his position ![]() Coming here and seeing the pro's talk about balance and map issues along with their opinions on the reduction in mechanics makes me question things a lot more, which is good for my mindset in game. Another thing I'd like to add is how some of the pro's actually communicate back in their streams, qxc particularly comes to mind it makes the stream a lot more entertaining and gives you an insight into the thinking of the pro's.

Just a thought that came up :o I would like this too. There's too much noise and garbage being posted on regular strategy forums, and anytime a pro posts something insightful they get bombarded with more garbage and people trying to disagree, so most of the time they don't even bother. i'd love a section of the forum where pros have read/write access and joes get read only.

'Unbanned shit exists elsewhere' doesn't mean you can shit everywhere and then expect it not to get banned. I agree with the post. If there were no pros occasionally posting the forum would be way way way worse off.

Just a thought that came up :o I think it was mentioned on State of the Game that something of this ilk is coming, at least to make the pros more recognizable, unless mr Robinson spoke out of turn but he wouldn't do that, would he? :o) Would like to see what kind (if any) discussion something like that'd create, but the problem is of course that for us lesser players there's a lot to learn from stupid questions getting answered.

I hear TL is planning to make pro posting easier/more visible, looking forward to that! I don't remember that thread, but during that time I was so busy IRL that I couldn't even spend more than a few minutes I think. BUT, that page was impressive, however it was full of warnings, not bans. EDIT: seems like they were bans but changed into warnings by the mercy of a mod....wish I could've seen it before it was changed ![]() OnTopic: I think one more "Thanks!" is always in order^^ and I will add another "Thanks!" to the admins who keep this site in tip-top shape so that those pros have a place to post
