The BM usually goes to the race that wins the most at the current time ,aka which people think is imba, and that is terran atm. If you go 30 or 40 pages back you'd see that most people hate on protoss.

If/when Zerg starts winning all the tournaments people would start BM-ing zergies the most

How to mute players In-Game

I actually had to look this up, apparently it is a recently added feature to sc2.

To mute a player you've never encountered before, while in your first match with them ever, you do the following:

1. Press F11

2. Look at bottom of the pop-up window, and click on the name of your opponent that you wish to block/mute.

Again note that this can be done in-game, when meeting a player for the first time.

The following is true about this action as far as I know:

1. Players won't know that you've blocked them unless you choose to tell them

2. Players can continue typing to you and wasting lots of attention and emotion without ever knowing it's all wasted effort and lost APM

3. You can review anything people have ever written to you when you watch the replay

4. You can un-block a player any time you want to resume receiving their communications

Post-Game

And if people contact you in battlenet after the game you can just right click on their profile pic (and click on more options) in the game summary screen, which can always be re-located by going to your game history and clicking on the match.

So I actually didn't know that this person was bming me during game, because I had them on ignore for bming me when I beat them before. Both games on ladder. Diamond league.

i agree with what this guy said. i don't play to be insulted by immature, arrogant people who don't have the game knowledge or skill to keep up with me. i play for a fun game. when BM happens, which isn't often, it's actually pretty upsetting at times, the things people will say.

now, a lot of people in this thread go out of their way to provoke bad-manners (for example those that message after the game). those people are the type I think you really mean.
There really isn't as much BM in SC as i'd expect. I find far more positive, friendly, behaved players than i do BM idiots.

I play PvP on shakuras. I decided to steal his gas after I saw that he had gotten his first gate on 10 and earlier than me. I figured it might be fast robo - then he decides to 4 gate me and I easily defend it off of 3 gates thanks to the no ramp warp in. Some units got up but it was too late for them to really make a difference. He leaves without a GG then messages me after game. this one falls into the confusing category:

Then he goes 2 port banshee into fast battlecruisers and a hidden expansion then leaves with:

"someday cheesy noobs will lose this game"

Then I try to talk to him and this happens :S

I usually play Zerg, but to day I decided to play some Protoss just for giggles. I have many more games played as zerg, but I swear I get raged at 10x more often as toss for whatever reason. Anyway, these shots came from the very first game of the session, where my zerg opponent went for mass lings with heavy upgrades into broodlords. He came running into my 4th with about 12 or so broodlords and no anti air. So I threw down 4 stargates, (secretly thanking my bad macro for the excess resources required here), and proceeded to mass produce voidrays along with gateway units and I just rolled him over with 12 or so voids.

This is not a new feature. I've been doing this religiously for awhile. Day[9] claims he routinely does it as well.

I enjoy not seeing the BM unless I watch the replay. This ensures it won't get to me.
