he says "bravo kid" hes obviously salty, u hit him with the classic post-victory schadenfreude interrogation "was i B M?" just as bad as winning a game and saying you were lucky to your opponent, even if its the case, they already know/dont wanna hear it u posted ur own bm, idk what to tell u. would be very surprised if you havent felt exactly the same way after a loss and had some happy go lucky former-ladder-match-winner message u just about anything. this type of shit is so low key toxic

ur just baiting them to say more shit to you, because ur rock hard from ur victory and its wildly apparent or the record i have no problem w shit talking, just shit talk them though. you might not think ur being BM, but messaging a player u just beat, who was obviously salty about it is just as bad as calling someone out on being bad On February 10 2017 02:41 ArtyK wrote: Show nested quote + On February 10 2017 02:37 c0sm0naut wrote: good to know i live in a universe where ppl dont have a basic understanding of human psychology lul he says "bravo kid" hes obviously salty, u hit him with the classic post-victory schadenfreude interrogation "was i B M?" just as bad as winning a game and saying you were lucky to your opponent, even if its the case, they already know/dont wanna hear it u posted ur own bm, idk what to tell u yeah you're right, when someone bms you it's so classic to ask if you were bm in some way to know why hes salty, you're right i see this every day. someone wouldnt have to ask me this cause i don't bm soooo yeah... doesn't seem like your understanding of human psychology is good either, let's end it there and if i meet you on ladder, i'll be sure to not ask why you were bm when all i did was play the game. if you meet me on ladder, win and attempt to message me afterwards, you will get that "player blocks messages from non-friends" message. players like you == why that function exists On February 10 2017 02:46 PinoKotsBeer wrote: Just move on, dont message people after a game.

Still, if my comment is "bm" than people are oversensitve these days. Just move on, dont message people after a game. Cool you saw that , i literally wouldn't have asked you after the game if i didn't know you from TL. Just wanted to know if it was something i did ingame that made you mad. "don't message after the game", i answered "?" ingame and you left :p Then the "need for attention part" kinda made me confused as it made no sense to me in that small exchange. No big deal though was just curious As for mech you always make better trades anyway unless you get crushed early...and i barely made air units so that wasn't the reason you lost. On February 10 2017 02:37 c0sm0naut wrote: if you meet me on ladder, win and attempt to message me afterwards, you will get that "player blocks messages from non-friends" message. players like you == why that function exists I just said i wasn't gonna do it though, i'd argue that function is used for people that spam or actually agressively bm after a game, if that was me i would have tried harder after the game vs Pino. In fact from my own experience people who have this function on are the one who bmed in the first place, so maybe you apparently. It's ironic to me that some people will go all out and assume the simplest comments are bm, then get mad or even mute you. The meaning of words were lost in sc2 when brainless dudes said you should always gg and nothing else otherwise you're an asshole. But i'm sure theres countless similar discussions in this thread already, bms persons on one side, and the ones who think they aren't on the other.

(we've played each other from time to time on the ladder and i won twice or thrice) Then, as his scouting ling dies on the bunker on my natural : He kills my 4rth with a roach/hydra/viper bust, so of course : Eventually i manage to win the game somehow, so he ragequitted. Very satisfying game. xD

Even if I lost (except to some sort of 'counter-BO' if I try to gamble), I'd happily chat with my opponent or even accept a re-match to try and improve. He beat me? Well he may have things to teach me. Or maybe I could do better and beat him anyway the second time, and I'd be happy with that. However, I also understand that it only the case for a minority. So I indeed never PM someone when I win, even if I'd really like to and think it would be good both the both of us. Just do the same. If you want a closer relationship, ladder is not a nice place.

so a lot of the time some low master player sending me shit about what i should have been doing comes off as really arrogant because frankly no one asked and im just playing the game because it's a game and it's fun, i don't need to pretend im going to win gsl one day one of the most common bms i get is "you've played x games and you're still diamond" after i beat someone, which confuses me about why that would make me feel bad. it's really insane how much people put into their ladder rank - you get people literally saying "im smarter than you, a better person than you" etc because they play at higher MMR in a game. not everyone is on a mission to be GM so that's probably why people don't respond well to uninvited advice, ladder is just a shitty climate full of toxic people
