if you dont play why do you even bother commenting? have you ever played ohana vs 11/11? no you have not because then u'd know how EASY it is to pull off 11/11 bunker rush and how HARD it is to defend on ladder version ohana without neutral supply depot...
there are 4 different places where the scv is untouchable while building... But yeah "its just a game".... no its not just a game, things are important to people because they spend time and energy onto them, ...

I love the matter of fact "reported.", as if it were the most natural thing to do.
This is brilliant.

Haven't played much recently. Decided to play a few customs on Xel'Naga to get my groove back. Playing Random vs Z I decide to 11/11. First little bit of BM is pretty standard:

Then he did a follow up baneling bust which I crushed. That's where things got confusing...

It's a legitimate part of the game like it or not. And "things are important to people because they spend time and energy onto them"? Are you serious? are you making money from it? if not you need to get your priorities straight. Just because some dude pulled off a strategy that is not up to your moral standards and that requires less "skill" it isnt the end of the world, and if you so "serious and spend time and energy", you will analyze, figure out how to stop it and train vs it.

Unless you are a pro gamer and make money of it, there are much more important things in life, and being angry about losing to a certain build in SC2 should be one of the last things you should be upset about.

It's still a sad and cynical view that passion should not go beyond your profession. I care about and enjoy SC2 enough to put time into practicing it, and my frustration isn't a scarce resource. The same frustration I get from my meticulously practiced build losing to some shitty spur-of-the-moment all-in is only surpassed by the satisfaction I get from winning. Telling people not to get angry over a video game is no less inflammatory than those who BM unprovoked, as no one with half a brain thinks it's within my power NOT to get angry when I lose. Some people get mad, some people don't. And I take pride in the fact that I feel so passionately about a game that I get frustrated with when my efforts aren't rewarded.

Care so much that you gonna flame other people calling them horrible stuff after losing to some strategy? Why you must invoke your own moral code of playing on another person? And if you lose to some dumb allin, then your play isn't good enough and the only person you need to rage on is yourself. If you are so pationate about the game, read the book "playing to win" and especially the section "The Scrub" (Not trying to insult; this is the section that discusses about setting your own moral standard and set of rules and expecting your opponent to comply to them). I didn't say you should not get passionate about something beyond your profession, and the world like it or not, spins around money. Be passionate about anything you want, but just beware of the practical implications and know what is more important and what is less, what is more worth wasting your anger energy on it and what not, and yes, you have the power to not get angry when you lose, everyone does.
