Has anyone else maxed out their block list? I'm no longer able to add anyone as the following message comes up when I add any additional users.

"Cannot add to block list because list is full"

Any solutions to this problem?

You may ask why so many user blocked. Well I've played about 1500 games and blocked pretty much anyone bm instead of just ignoring or replying. I do appoligize if this is an inappropiate new thread, but I really like to unblock users or do something reasonable to fix this issue.

even if they do BM you, 99.99% of the time they quit after a few seconds of no responses? There are only a set number of ignores you can do, basically it stores those people and pulls that information whenever you log in, if everyone had as many as you do ,it would be a ridiculous amount of data to store for.. no real reason. You could unblock all of them and still never hear from them again

it is so logical that this doesnt even need to be a thread.

I cant imagine that "storing the information" for who blocked who on battle.net takes much information at all...
Personally I think it is a little ridiculous that they have limits for friends and ignores on battle.net. Does battle.net 2.0 have friend limits still?

Yeah, but think of all those people that BM then block you right after the match! What are they going to do. I love these people by the way, it's like I don't even have to rub it in after the match*, they're doing it to themselves.

* Disclaimer: I only really do this to people to BM with racial/homophobic slurs or sometimes the gg noob people depending on their manner at the start of the game or when/how they quit

Are you doing something to bring the BM on yourself? I've played quite a few games, and the percentage of people that even message me after a game is pretty slim, much less those that BM and I have to block.

Just seems like a pretty high ratio of BM you are experiencing even with a lot of games played..

i have 3 ppl blocked.

and im sure i could unblock them and never have to worry about them msging me again. lesson is, just delete ppl and add ppl who CURRENTLY pester you. ignore the rest.

in real life you dont get a block button!! the power of the cold shoulder must never be underestimated

Yeah just be a little less block friendly. I find that just politely mentioning that they're being rude and that I beleive in being good at being a person is even more importiant than being good at starcraft than they either think about it and feel bad about themselves and appologise or they find it really annoying (which I find really amusing) and start ignoring me instead.

Yes there is a limit on the number of character friends you can have. I would Imagine there is also an limit to the number of real ID friends you can have. Raelcun has already hit that limit, the only reason I know any of this is he was talking about it on his stream at one point.

Purge block list and re-block as necessary; if you're getting tells from ppl as soon as you as you unblock them, wth did you do to piss them off? (rhetorical question, don't piss people off )

They shouldn't be able to tell that you've unblocked them anyway, as far as I know.

Does anyone know that if you block a person they are no longer able to be selected as your teammate in random team games? That would probably be the most useful application of the "block" feature, for those who are into that kind of stuff anyway.

Thanks a lot, that screen was really helpful as the root of the matter was I unaware of an obvious way to unblock players. Most players are well mannered, I think I was just too hasty in dropping the block hammer anytime someone was obnoxious.

I'll be honest climbing up the ranks from bronze level player to 1900ish diamond I realize this is a broad generalization, but I've encountered quite a range of behavior and its my experience thus far that there tends to be less BM in diamond than in platinum and downwards. That may be related to the frequency of "cheese" strategies and the capability to manage those situations.

Security issue.
And yes, as seen of some casters/streamers, the limit is 100 friends. Security issue there too.

Also this thread is retarded, how hard can it be to check the options window?

I had a guy recently block me after a game.
What's crazy though is he did it immediately after the game, without me saying anything to him in-game, or after the game.

Just automatically blocked those who he plays/played with it seems.

He freaking went 2 rax marine all-in zvt cross positions metalopolis too.

Security issue? What are you talking about?
