How does this work?

Sorry I'm not that good when it comes to downloading stuff and then opening it with a particular program or what not. Is there instructions for the not so tech savvy people?

I am interested though if it helps my game...

It's pretty straight forward. Download and install the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables (link in OP), then download the app and run it - no need to install it or anything. Once running, just enter the units you want, press Start, and it will start to work out the fastest way to get them. The other features aren't too complicated just play around with them a bit.

Definitely the one from the OP? Note that you need the 32 bit redistributables even if you've got 64 bit OS.

Get YABOT Bank File Editor from here: http://www.sc2builds.com/resources.aspx

Makes things a bit easier than doing it manually.

Ugh, that could be possible actually.

But I would've fiddled with that a long while ago, and at the time I remember trying loads of things to get this working (installed all those different packages (not sure why I tried others, was just going for anything at the time, but certainly tried the one provided most). I don't think I'd be past manually swapping dll files, but I think it would've been after trying to install it 'normally'.

I'm probably due for a reformat anyway, I'll get 'round to that eventually.

Eh, idk.

Is it just me of does this not work with YABOT? I can acess the build I made on YABOT but the build order is empty. YABOT did just release an update a few days ago.

I just tested your tool, first I was amazed - but only as long as I was giving him simple targets like "8 zealots" or so.
The Problem why i cannot use it the way I would like is the following:

I want to find a optimal build for a 6 sentry, 12 stalker, 1 zealot, 2 collosus, Thermal Lance, 1 Obs Push. To make this a realistic push, I NEED to make sure the tool will follow those waypoints:

1) Time: 420 => 1 zealot, 1 Nexus

I want the tool to build me a zealot to be able to block my choke...

2) Time: 520 => 1 sentry, 1 Nexus

I want a sentry to be save vs allin pushes, i just need that early sentry...

3) Time: 640 => 6 sentry, 2 Nexi, as well as 3 warpgates

I want to do a 6 sentry expand build and having 3 waprgates up, to make sure to be able to defend against all kind of allins...

Final target) Time: 2000 => 12 Stalkers, 2 Collo with thermallance, 1 obs, 6 sentry, 1 zealot, 1+ ground attack

Problematic is, that he builds a nexus on 23 supply, where as i want to expand later for security reasons but i seems I have no choice of telling the tool to do this...

Conclusion:
Your tool and the thoughts behind them are really really nice, the problem is, right now there is no way to tell him not to expand, even though it would be possible mineralwise...

Changes for fixing this issue
Option for every building/unit: minimum, exactly, maximum, maximize

Those seem fine? You want 1 lot by 420seconds (seems late..), it gave it in 372, etc.

You know the time is seconds, not just missing a : right? Caught me out at first.

i edited my posting, since it will fullfill timings corectly, but i cannot tell the tool not to build a second nexus, as the field "nexus=1" is interepreted as "minimum 1 nexus" but not exactly, so I have no chance of adjusting this...
