We seem to be having some issues with the format of a Haiku, so here are some guidelines.
Haiku is not strict on the rules, but generally you count syllables in English. There should be 5 in the first line, 7 in the second, and 5 in the third.
Variations like 3, 5, 3 or 4, 5, 4 are somewhat common. Being off by 1 syllable for the last line can be acceptable as well but takes away from the cleverness of it.
