Maybe a press table or something. As it stood it was not possible to do play by play coverage of the event due to the lack of seating and the lack of power plugs for the press for their laptops/phone.

Korben, you realize that all staff at MLG are paid, right? And you realize that we couldn't pry Day9 out of that chair with a forklift? We've tried. Day9 LOVES to cast. We had to force him to take a 15min break at one point. Love that guy. P.S. some of the extended breaks we take are so that casters can actually go to the bathroom and eat. honestly, No I didn't know that about the MLG staff.. so thanks for letting me know. and fair enough if you can't pry him out of the chair.. please listen when we say he and wheat are awesome at the desk and jp on the floor as the man among the people is amazing.. it's a great great balance.. please keep it up!!! Sounds like you guys need bed pans and sustenance IVs, or robot casters. catheters?

If he couldn't handle that, then he doesn't deserve to win. It was his fault that he had to play so many rounds. Having a final that is Best of 3 is anti-climatic and just generally bad entertainment. You put all this effort into getting the two best players in the finals and it's done in a flash. No, I don't think so.

The finals could have been a bet of 7 without having to be played right after a dozen best of 3s. Just move the finals to the next day or start earlier on Friday or intersperse WoW games with SC2 games or any number of other options that puts space between the loser's finals and the grand finals. Hopefully next season SC2 will be taken more seriously and will get a separate PC section from WoW so that the tournament can be spread across more days.

The casting was great, the event was awesome and things just went smoothly. You even had the camera guys moving around on the extended breaks! It's always nice to see everybody that actually made it to the event, even if some annoying guy kept throwing his leg up in the air ![]() The only thing I beg of you to change.........THE COMMERCIALS. I can only watch the Doritos Late Night Cheeseburger commercial so many times before I decide to boycott the company! *Not really, but you get the idea ![]() All in all, I rate the event a 9/10 for the Streamer, and that was with hearing all about that delay *Nothing is perfect, so I can't seriously knock you down much for it*

If they could, they'd all cast every match in the tournament, but that's not technically feasible. hey lee if you don't mind i'm trying to put names to faces in terms of refs. I know who ender was, but i'm not sure on the others. i'm guessing red shirt was ryan moore, you were the one with the sweatshirt, and shrew was the other, is that correct? Uh no. Not quite... The red shirt (bad star trek reference as he's far from a replaceable security guy) is Ryan Moore. The two asian's in sweatshirts are the "Trance twins" Brandon and Matt. I'll apologize in advance because I get them confused all the team. I don't think I got caught on camera at all this event. Yes I agree, I know that Halo has bad history in southern california(despite me attending every event there since Halo 2's release) , I know Sundance was upset with Anaheim, but please please come back to the west coast.. Arizona, California, Nevada, Utah.. somewhere in that area please ;D...

Very much agreed zemiron wrote: If he couldn't handle that, then he doesn't deserve to win. It was his fault that he had to play so many rounds. Then what’s the point of a double elim format? Even the best players can be upset early in a tournament, and it's counterproductive to give them a chance to redeem themselves and penalize them at the same time. The winner of the lower bracket deserves to win as much as the winner of the upper bracket (at least that’s what I think is the purpose of a double elim format).

While we were waiting for food to arrive long after the games had concluded, I went to talk to Sean briefly before he went to bed (he couldn't even wait for the food). I swear to god, it looked like he was literally staring past me he was so worn out. Like he was just looking right at me but right past me at the same time, he couldn't even keep his eyes open. His girlfriend took him up to his room, and joined us a few minutes later. She said he was asleep before she even left. Dude is a hero!

I think that 2 bo3's is just fine for the grand finals, if it was 2 bo5's then the guy coming from the loser bracket would have to win 6 games without losing 3 out of 5 ,which is prettttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttty damn hard and it might get kind of boring to have a 4 hour finals

MLG should take a look and try to modify their brackets to be more informative and not so confusing as for DC. http://us.blizzard.com/blizzcon/tournaments/starcraft.xml#p1
