When you think about it... How weird would it be for Boxer to say "Zerg is UP, Cool is just too good"?
Hence what he said is more reasonable, albeit somewhat funny lol.

I'm so happy for him go boxer!

boxer isnt as good as other terrans right now. i dont think he understands sc2 enough to be able to identify imbalance

Word. It will be frustrating but quite funny if Terran gets super nerfed in the next patch and then all the Terran pros start making posts about switching races. I think thats why MorroW is really playing Zerg a lot, because he knows whats coming and wants to be able to transition nicely and continue winning tournaments.

I am guessing you base your facts on the ONE game you saw versus IdrA on the forums here? If so you should really research more and watch the Korean stream on this site. They showed him going something like 15-0 in a tournament and his play was something godly to say the very least. Boxer also just started seriously playing SC2 and we will see how much potential he has and how far he has come so far very soon in GSL2

He's sad about Terran nerfs, clearly this guy hasn't watched enough SC2. :p

not QQ'ing whatsoever but blizzard is more interested in buffing zerg instead of balancing the game
Yeah but n=1 in this situation which isn't very sturdy logic. Still have to look at the big picture. Then again, my Z bias might be showing a bit here :D

nice to see Boxer making it.

can we not turn this into another "imba" thread...?

I guess StarTale would be a likely option for him because he's a good friend of HopeTorture. But Liquid'Boxer would be unreal!!!

the last 3 answers were really disappointing to read
Q: Some people say (SC2's) Salvage and Dropships (=medivacs) were made, Boxer in mind... A: In SC2, it is not only Terran that has favourable (options). Zerg can still move their spinecrawlers... (I'm assuming the rest is not written down by the interviewer) However, the strategy exists and if it's a possible strategy I will not be hesitant and will use them 'devilishly' to the full extent.
Q: Why stick with Terran? A: I chose Terran because the fans expected Terran matches from me. However, the game changes a lot with every patch so I might change my race depending on the results of the (future) patches.
Q: Are you satisfied with Terran? A: I am slightly displeased with the multiple Terran nerfs (including recent ones). Blizzard has tendency to balance games for team games and games with multiple players (I think implying FFA). Also Zerg has won recently so I don't understand why Zerg is receiving a buff.

Don't get why this is disappointing in any manner. He looks at it the way it is, it's a very new game that changes all the time, by the hands of the players and once every few months by blizzard.
It was Boxer himself who used Terran when they were considered the weakest race in the early days of BW, he is one of the greatest strategist and tactician we had in bw and his mind continued to influence champions even long after his own prime. He experienced all stages of Brood War on the highest level.
Whether he's right or wrong don't really matter to me, but i see where he's coming from. Who's to say that by using macro maps the game wont totally shift in another direction? If we balance it around shittard maps like steppes of war then sure go with a stupid idea like the "depot before rax" requirement. Imagine BW was balanced around Blood Bath lol
edit: wtf have i always been a reaver? When did it change? :D

congratulations to boxer! i believe!
