if wmf can let its wc3 division to join gsl. why don't they make an sc2 division and recruit the good sc2 players. | ||

As an example if you can spam 500 key press + mouse click, but you can only do like 25 real action per minute then you will for sure losing to somebody who only spam 60 key press + mouse, but all of them is real action. APM counter usually count every key strokes and mouse click but not the real (effective) APM. | ||

Yeah, Moon's apm looks amazing, but it no longer matters in sc2 that u click fast - 200 apm is more then enough to do anything u want. | ||

Instead of using that APM to maintain production, you can use it to harass easier, micro individual units better and so forth. Its an erroneous argument to say that more efficient and higher APM won't help you in SC2 like it would in SC1 because of the streamlined interface; the only difference is now people with high APM/good mechanics can more likely put that APM to better use adn achieve more with it since there is no longer a clunky GUI to fight against. If you have good enough mechanics, APM, multitasking, etc, now you can probably do shit like this while maintain your macro cycles in SC2 amongst other stuff. We're not even through the looking glass yet when it comes to mechanics, all the micro and multitasking so far has been fairly elementary not completely mindblowing. | ||
