I really hope the OSR is better than it was during Raleigh. It was really superficial and didn't really feature anything of interest at all. And I'm not a strict RTS player at all, I generally like gaming shows.

Hopefully you received some feedback and this time it'll be more focused and engaging.

To sum up my issues with the OSR (from Raleigh) - less glitz more content.

I would guess that is why they are having Day[9] make an appearance. Any eSports reporting show for SC or SC2 would be foolish to feature Day[9] and not let him talk about the game. Day[9] implies critical thinking into the depths of Starcraft.

I actually would not be shocked if Day 9 Daily gets some sponsors sometime soon, MLG would be a huge sponsor for him and would surprise me...he gets ridiculous number of hits though. MLG hiring him full time would probably mean the dailies would appear on MLG's new MLG TV site... great for traffic, idk how great for business. But yeah, Day 9 deserves some love for everything he does for SC2

Yeah, I actually watched the most recent episode on their site and it's not really as bad as I remember that Raleigh episode being.

It still has this vibe where they appear to be parodying an ESPN show, except about gaming.

i followed MLG before getting into starcraft II and i have to say, I love puckett and all, but some of the segments in the old spice report feel a little forced and thats part of the reason I don't tune in more, but i'll definitely watch this for day9

get listed on the tl.net stream list and you will get 1000 viewers if you can get featured, ask politely and they may feature a "MLG" channel.

I doubt that Day[9] would sell his show's rights unless there were some serious money involved. You may be able to convince him to do a preshow/postshow commercial.

Anyway we'd all appreciate it if you could at least match his income from his pizza delivery job. That's super dangerous work in LA and it would be much nicer if Day[9] could spend 6 hours developing Starcraft content instead. Just having him put together a "SC2 News this Week" would get you an instant 20k viewer show.

Keep up the great work at MLG! Get a Cable channel too.

If you sub-license GOM content, you'd have over 100 hours per week of programming and that's coming pretty close to what you'd need to run a full cable network. I'm sure you are working on it but just know that the community is out there. When you are ready, we can bombard Comcast and RoadRunner with hundreds of thousands of requests for your network. =)

I tuned in a few weeks back to watch the SC2 section, then tuned out. Hard to show the legitimate numbers to your higher ups as to where the influx of people came from. If MLG were able to get on the TL Calender or Day9 advert'd on his show then that'd be several thousand more viewers potentially, but since we don't know the exact time day shows up it'll be interesting to see where the viewers come from.
