I agree with people who want to remain calm.
Surely more than one name is actually confirmed and those players might be trying SC2, but does not mean going to sign on to the next GSL. Maybe not at 12 following ...
On the other hand you can do the test. Search any name in SC2Ranks: Flash, Pure, Calm, Light, ... many of them are generic words that any user can log into the game. If you put "Reach" in the search, you can find 20 people with the same name and so the majority of cases.
If one of those players is between 1000 and 1500 points in Diamond, he automatically has to be Reach?
Stay calm.

This is such good news for SC2. :D

If you look at the original post, Heen claims that he talked to a coach on the NEX team. If you trust in Heen (and the TL admins have not locked this thread so perhaps they trust Heen), then perhaps his news has some credibility.
In addition, Milkis has already posted that Boxer was rumoured to be switching to SC2:
http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=151303
So far, Milkis' post correctly predicted that JulyZerg and Nada would switch to SC2. That's 2 out of 3 confirmed, with Boxer unconfirmed at the moment..
Combining Heen's information and Milkis' information, it is very credible that Boxer is minimally playing SC2, if not outright switching to SC2.

grubby and remind will switch too. there have never been so many progamers in one game. i've talked with remind. He has no interest in sc2 That is correct. Just because some switches doesnt mean ALL do. Remind is still loyal his main game -> WC3, which leaves me, hands down, with total respect for him for that shows that not only pricemoney and popularity should count for what game you play but passion. Remind ftw yeah because switching to a new game means its always about money and popularity right?
Having fun has nothing to do with it of course!

You mean, TLO is going to get out-Boxered by Boxer. After all, it was Boxer who did it first .

It's exciting to know that these guys are at LEAST trying out SC2 .
Anyone know who this Korean 'Flutter' guy is who's #9 on the world ladder rank at the moment? He just appeared there seemingly overnight .

Funny how #3 and #6 are Slayer and Boxer ? lol

why does everyone think they will actually play at competative level. I don't get it.
|
What a list. But I'm not surprise by this. SC2 is in open beta in KR, I think most of the retired pro have a account on SC2. They will definately try it out. I doubt the if Boxer or oov will success in SC2. But pro like Stork, Flash, Jaedong will be huge in SC2 once they switch

Because people like Tester and Cool whom were nobodies in SC1 are all of a sudden top SC2 players. So why can't 2 Bonjwas?

Boxer has over 500 games, that's a lot of SC2 to be playing if he's not switching over.
