I say that's either shine or effort.
Also Miso is not cj's miso for anyone wondering, and if Midas' account is Midas his stats are quite underwhelming (below 1200 platinum, peaked in august and then his rating fell).

EffOrt moving to SC2 would be epic though, I bet he picks terran until the game becomes more balanced towards zerg.

No. The teams are on break right now, and I'm sure most of the BW pros were at least curious about SC2 and wanted to try it out. We also know that these guys are some serious gamers with their 8-10+ hour days of practice, so these guys aren't going to play a game or two, they're gonna go crazy. Until, I see some official statements/gsl registration from these players I'm not jumping to any conclusions. This. Seriously, people are jumping to conclusions WAY too fast here, especially considering this is BW's offseason. Just renamed the thread and edited the OP to make that a little more accurate.

iloveoov and boxer are 4th and 5th in korea for win ratio, pretty crazy to have a 65% win rate over there from what I understand.

He is exploring SC2 to see if he can be a viable Pro, because he has to pay the bills. Plus, Boxer has nothing to lose by switching over to SC2 if BW Pro League collapses. If Boxer dominates the SC2 scene (of course, that's a big IF), he stands to make way more money than he makes now. Also, if Boxer performs well in the early phase of SC2's competitive years, he will garner respect as a SC2 player, and this will position him well for a coaching spot on a SC2 team as he ages. Realistically, BW Pro league has less than a year in the best case. In the worst case, BW Pro League may go on for 3 to 6 months longer. With coaches quitting BW left and right, and teams disbanding left and right, and the public's interest switching over to SC2, it's a matter of time until the sponsors pull their plug on BW. Nada already foresaw this and that's why Nada declined resigning with Wemade, even though Wemade begged Nada to stay. Boxer is just looking out for himself because he knows that BW Pro League's future is in doubt at this point. Boxer's "exploring" of SC2 makes a lot of sense. In fact, I expect him to make an official announcement of his switchover before GSL season 2 starts.

Your statements are mostly incorrect. A few coaches were replaced. One team might be disbanded. The public's (as in korean, since we're talking BW proleague public) interest, as far as we know, doesn't seem too much concerned about SC2 yet. The only time we can start making constructive, non-baseless arguments about what state BW is in will be when its new season actually starts.

that's amazing so many of 'em are playing. but then again, it's not that insane to think that they'd wanna play some other random video games to pass the time when they're not practicing.
