I really hope that there's a lot more to the patch (at least balance wise) than what was stated in the situation report. Because if thats all they changed then why the hell did it take them so long? I could see maybe battle net features taking some extra time, but why not just release them separately instead of allowing these desperately needed balance changes to be postponed?

Funny thing is I wont' have internet to my apt until Wednesday (the earliest). lol what amazing timing...I haven't played in like 2 weeks (i'll be ~2.5 when patch comes out) because i moved and I'm in a hotel w/o my desktop.

As for the "patch notes", after rereading the situation report again, I don't think there will be that many changes...but more will lead to more fun/intrigue/future bitching.

GSL is going on a 3 day break for Chusuk (Korean Thanksgiving) right as this is happening. Also, the changes aren't so major (at least the ones we know about that) that players will have to drastically modify their builds. Looking forward to the patch!

Woo, my guess on the features is map publishing fixes, I don't think this will be the esport patch yet, that'll probably be the start of the official season 1 (this being season 0) of the ladder.

Looks like I will soon start playing starcraft 2 lately.

I've been extremely disappointed since I beat the campaign. ( I think playing over 700 beta games kind of ruined my excitement to ladder ) Can't wait to see some added stuff and some much needed balance.

The timing is right after GSL RO32 is finished. Then players will have time during the 3-day holiday in Korea to test it.

Blizzard can't take into any tournament no matter it's size/visibility, if they would they couldn't patch the game ever. Well, maybe they could if they just stopped giving out permissions and then waiting for all the ones that they approved to finish and then patch the game. But that is incredibly retarded and people need to stop moaning/looking for conspiracies about various tournaments and game patches happening while they're happening.
