But if it's not televised in South Korea, the majority of the potential audience for this tournament has disappeared, greatly reducing the value of this tournament to sponsors. I'm now really curious (and probably will never found out) exactly what was stipulated in the contract between OGN and Gretech, since apparently OGN can back out of televising this tournament.

OGN complied, but by playing recorded matches, not live, and 12 at midnight. I guess both Gretech and OGN is now back at the table about it. What a dick move...

-OGN and Gretech makes a deal for Starcraft1 license, and in return, OGN will air GSL. -Kespa jumps in and stops OGN from airing GSL. Pisses off Gretech -OGN can't go against Kespa with OSL final in few days. Kespa may pull the plugs on players. -Gretech may nullify the SC1 license it gave to OGN due to broken deals, effectively making the league illegal along with MSL. I...I just...wow. What a total mess. Seems like every institution involved in e-sports is laboring as hard as they can to destroy it. Begun, the Great E-Sports War has. May God have mercy on us all...

Tehy are really gonna fight tooth and nail for sc2 to never be on the same stage as bw. So in summary, Gom; hey guys we own bw now. In exchange for the rights to play bw on tv how abt u air our sc2 league on ur channel as well? Mbc: maybe... [a bit later] actually nawwwww. Ogn: well, we dont like the idea of being forced to play ur content. But its our 10 yr anniversary, fuckit ok. Were going to shanghai! Yeeeeeeeeee Kespa: if u air sc2 we are gonna ban ur tourney and pull the players. Ogn: something came up, my dogs sick, gotta bail. Gom: fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu naw really. Politics is so retarded. Blizz gretech should of just given bw away so they could actually get sc2 running.

Nah it's a response to Gretech refusing to sign off on Proleague. They're going to do this until pretty much Gretech decides to let KeSPA do proleague. it's quite petty but whatever

More like Kespa is killing SC2 to keep BW alive. But yeah, if rumors are true, this is evil puppetry by Kespa pulling the players. I don't think they will because it would essential cut off their balls in the process.
