lol love it!! would be hectic though if they could make a patch where you culd put some of your own mp3s in a game folder and listen to your own music. im sure that would balance it out

I can confirm. All my life I've been playing Beethoven, Chopin and Liszt on my piano, but recently I've started to learn the Terran Theme, and now no-one can beat me at piano.

I just listend to the song...gave me goose bumps. Zerg and Toss music is also pretty good, but it doesnt make u goo "uaaah, I'm the man and I kill u with ease"

Enough of these terran OP threads. Sure the music is a bit better, but 90% of time that is not the reason why Terran wins.

i concur, i used to be protoss in SC1, but switched to Terran because of the soundtrack the first day i got in Beta, Gets me real pumped while the music from the other 2 race is pretty lackluster i find...

Guys... it's not imba... sure what the OP said is mostly true that the terran song makes you want to just ROFLSTOMP everything in your path, but with the zerg music it teaches you to be patient and unnerving in the face of a ball of death... wait for the terran to finally run out of steam (when their music goes to the semi low notes/rhythms and that's when you start punishing the terran for over extending... blizzard intended the music and themes to be this way for balance... the terran will then realize that without the bloodlust he gets from listening to their theme how much he overextended himself and thats when you start kicking back...

In this way how I described this certain dynamic of the game, I think we can safely say that there is a music cue for the timing window attack. Aside from upgrades and tech tree timing windows, there is now a theme timing you have to make sure you hit that timing with your tech upgrades complete to deal maximum damage to set you up to either expand or win the game outright... bonus points if you win it while your race is on a kick-ass portion of the theme.

I currently have my music muted for SC2, but I have songbird in the background playing the original terran music from BR. I end up playing mech a LOT better and it boosts my APM and I naturally play faster. I still do like SC2's music though.

ok, after doing some off-racing with terran (I'm protoss) I have to say this is definitely true - when listening to protoss-music I'm like "oh well, let's play very exacty, very though out, pay attention to every small little detail"

but when listening to terran-music I go "muahahaha I will DESTROY you and it will be embarassing for you and your family"
