True. Idra has stated himself that he was not very good at learning new languages and that he stopped learning the language after he felt that it was cutting into his practice time too much.

i dunno if he'd join sk or mouz or any team like that. i have the feeling that idra would want to be on a starcraft-only team. it leads me to think oGs is the best guess.

I can imagine them not wanting to extend his contract if they knew about all that. Maybe he's hoping to join a different team, but this sounds more like his bad attitude finally caught up to him.

You guys should know that belonging to a pro-SC team will greatly improve anyone's chance on being successful in SC. Pro SC team provides you with coaching staff, who will give advises on builds and what not, and also give you plenty of practice partners in a structured environment. I speculate that the only reason Idra leaving CJ is 'cause he isn't playing BW no more. And for his own good, he should try to join up with TL and oGs, because oGs has a number of ex-BW pro gamers and they know how to practice. But the point of this post is that there's no reason you guys should be bashing KesPa, making it sound like CJ was holding Idra back from becoming a better player, 'cause that is totally false.

Since Idra is focusing 100% on SC2, its stupid to continue in a team like CJ. And it is stupid to keep Sc2 player in a sc1 team if hes not playing the game they are focusing.

Do you know anything about Kespa? Kespa players aren't allowed to play in the GSL because of the power struggle between them and Blizzard.

He's the number1 most followed player and arguably the most skilled non-korean.

That isn't the reason why KesPa BW players aren't playing SC2. They're sticking to BW 'cause that's where their money's at. Yes the conflict between KesPa and blizzard is disheartening, but that's no reason to bash KesPa. Simply put, KesPa = BW (as of now), and they aren't sponsoring SC2 tourneys/players just yet.

That's true, but there's evidence to suggest that Kespa won't ever really sponsor SC2. Take, for example, the recent showmatch between Nada and TLO. Even if Kespa was telling the truth and they didn't actually pull the plug (doubtful) they're still doing their very best to keep SC2 from having any kind of Kespa support (they said the showmatch could not be broadcasted to Korea). Besides, they're pretty pissed at Blizzard over BW :\
