That is why I am saying that ELO isn't necessarily representative of someones skill. You have people like me, who take breaks and end up getting punished in the long run due to having a high MMR. | ||

Why not split the forums into bronze/silver, gold/plat and diamond/pro sections? The problem we have at the moment is that bronze players are posting things they found helpful and need to learn about, things diamonds just don't need to read. Similarly, a gold level player might not actually get anything useful out of a diamond player's post because it's going into a level of detail that he doesn't yet need to concentrate on. This would let everyone post and talk about the things they need to discuss, without upsetting the other levels of player. By all means let all players read all forums, but ask them not to post above their 'level'. How well this would work depends on whether people would stick to the rules or not, but it's surely worth a try. Btw I'm a mid-plat random player. I get annoyed by some of the random crap people post too, but equally I get a little riled by diamond players telling me that "back in BW you'd be E-rank". Maybe so, but there's no need to keep telling me I suck. I'm pretty much aware of the holes in my game already, thanks very much  | ||
