I've honestly had to mute this conversation as it's really not worth listening too as the proper resolution is somewhere in the middle. Tyler just made statements that are foolish which is allowing Incontrol to aggressively push his points. W/e this is host fail JP needs to take control and switch subjects. I honestly found the balance discussion more interesting but again that was argument fail as well because Day found out that he hadn't come up with an elongated counter point to Idra's demands. Sigh le' bore.

Colbi was damned if he did and damned if he didn't. It was a conflict of interest between his job to inform the fans and the fact EG and TL are separate entities that speak for themselves. So rather than do nothing, or explain all, he tried to find a middle ground. Yeah it made people ask questions, cause a little drama, but unanswered questions also generate more questions.

Sometimes the truth doesn't come out in the way or from the people we want it to. This is a total non issues.

Did Tyler miss when TL became a ridiculously huge site compared to what it used to be? When a million people bought StarCraft II and found the website and it became a massive marketing ground? When the posting quality on TL went massively down but the site traffic went massively up, leading to a much larger number of high quality posters along with a stream of drivel?

It really sounded like someone posting from the point of view of someone talking about a website with 100 regulars and a few random spambots from barely heard of companies and tournaments - not one of the biggest e-sports sites in the world.
