Would love that indeed. only he needs to roll protoss than :p No idra would be a great 5th piller. Only thing is that with 5 people on, its hard to invite some more such as sockééé and Huk (GO JP!) or sheth

I mean I know he said it once before that IdrA is the new pillar of the show, but we didn't see IdrA on any of the future SotG's so I assumed he was joking.

MLG was "ok" according to most of them? Lol... They are so biased, if this would have been any other tournament they would have ripped to shreds and that for good reason. Well aside from the obvious fact they are not going to heavily criticize people they work for or have some kind of relationship with all of them were actually at the event so none of them saw how bad the stream really was. Day9 and JP probably have a decent idea since they were the casters, but nowhere near the full picture. Also just for the record Tyler saying there was nothing they could do and the fault was completely on the venue is laughable. MLG has had similar problems with their venues before although not to this extent, they knew the problem could surface. Why do you think NASL partnered with Justin.tv for their streaming? There is plenty a corporation can do to prepare especially with the track record they had which consists of not starting a single SC2 event on time last year or this year.

Link in the OP yes but at the time of the tourney, it wasnt showing all the players, it wasnt showing scores, and being told they will play loser of WB r7 g2 doesnt mean shit to people. so it was impossible to follow

Yeah what a fucking surprise they didn't 'rip MLG to shreds'. It's not bias, they've not exactly been kind to MLG in the past. But they were all at the event, they saw how hard the MLG guys were working to get it to work, what the fuck did you expect? To download the podcast and hear 'OMG IT WAS FUCKING TERRIBLE NO ONE WATCH MLG EVER AGAIN'? No. They're not there to shout your opinions back at you so you feel justified in them. They're there to give a unique perspective, and that perspective was that the problems were mostly outside of MLG's hands and it they were 'impressed' with how they handled the sitation. (That's a quote from Idra who has absolutely no obligation to be nice to MLG) It's totally weird to me that there were people saying they'd be 'disappointed' if SotG didn't tear MLG a new one. Why? What good would it do even if they did?

I know these sound as small changed but it where buffs ^^ His point is still totally valid. The point being - rewind a couple months and Protoss everywhere were shaking their heads in despair because they didn't think they could win a damned thing. Rewind further and they were screaming in frustration because they couldn't beat mutalisks. Looking at those complaints from here, they seem ridiculous. I'm not saying zerg is fine, but Day[9] has history on his side on his 'let's see what happens with the metagame' approach.

And I mean, enough has been said at this point, we know what went wrong, the people at MLG know what went wrong, the ceo himself apologized, you can hear about the MLG people that have been working for crazy hours trying to get everything right. Is it really necessary to just keep going on and on and on about it? At that point your just whining just because they want to whine, I just don't see what more they could have added on State of the game that would have lead to a good discussion. Just leave it be, every single problem has been talked about to death at this point, I am sure MLG is gonna do absolutely everything to get the next even as good as possible. If you don't want to watch anymore, then that is your point, but then just leave it be.

Lets compare some of the stuff thats been put out there recently bu leauges and tournaments. Dreamhack TSL NASL IGN GSL MLG Who is or is going to manage to live up to there own hype? Some have failed, some have made it and some will prove themself. We can atleast say that the live stream expirence that MLG has hyped in this video did not really make it all the way, with or without internet!

There is a difference between them not really talking about it, which I think most people wouldn't have cared about since your right it has been talked to death, and them basically saying "it's not MLG's fault" which even Sundance has acknowledged is not the case.
