Maybe huge for SCII, but it's what they've been doing with Halo for ages, so I wasn't really surprised; I think if they get a game that's popular, sponsors will want to pick up players anyway.

However, I still listen to it every week so if you could change things around that'd be great.

Edit: Listening You're probably just upset that he didn't respond to your inane question in the "Ask iNcontroL" blog. Perhaps its a culture clash, but as a Brit I thoroughly enjoy the comedy in State of the Game, especially from Geoff.

I'm canadian, a terran, and offended by everything and I still think inControl's still a baller.

I absolutely adore everything you're doing for the StarCraft 2 community, more free content than we know what to do with (and the paid coaching for those who request it), you're the best member of State of the Game, I love watching your casting, especially that Rumble in the Bronze a few months ago and now we're gifted with the luxury of the greatest StarCraft 2 stream in existence. You're a pinnacle of what E-sports players should aspire to and I extremely appreciate the mass amount of content you're putting out. As for your team, they have graced us with the brilliant EGMasters Cup (twice) with some good games the first time and better the second time, again commentated with fantastic commentators. I really hope this secret project will achieve momentous success as you and Team EG definitely deserve it. As for the stream itself. I seem to have issues with buffering and it seems to artifact quite often, unfortunately I have not attempted to stream anything before so I do not know how to resolve that. Sorry I insulted the pro gamer you love and adore. You were completely justified in searching through my post history to valiantly come and defend your incontrol. Though I'll be honest, I think he's old enough to speak for himself. Maybe its a culture difference but there's a term in Canada called "dick riding" ![]() Edit: spelling

Give someone like Geoff a mic and that's how he makes himself comfortable. Just about everything that comes out of his mouth is hilarious, and he even calls out his own bad jokes. And I have to agree with the general opinion on having Sundance on SotG - he was really down-to-earth and interesting to hear. I've been following MLG for a really long time now, so it was especially cool to me.

You are not alone in the latter category, don't worry. Also not alone in the searching through others' post history for argument material, lol. Geoff, you make me laugh out loud (the real kind) all the time, JP you have done such amazing work for the community, Tyler I support the brotoss for life, Day9 needs no extra praise but I'll give it anyway, and Guest, you are different every time.

JP or whoever is in charge of selecting user questions needs do better. That section of the cast is banal, repetitive, and wholly unenlightening. I usually skip it altogether - WHICH IS BAD because it means that I also miss the wonderful sponsor plugs. Ironically enough, I don't listen to SoTG for insight into the state of the game itself. I come for behind-the-scenes stories and gossip among those in the competitive scene.

Sorry. Since I've offended a few incontrol fanboys with thin skin, I should probably clarify. I do not dislike incontrol, I just find him sometimes immature. Anyone with basic social acumen can see that he also tries way too hard. And please tell me you don't actually think I'd regularly search through someones post history for a retort. But seriously, if you could offer some elucidating information on what you "understand" about Geoff and I don't, do speak up.

InControl is fine, but tries to hard. Or that's just who he is. Everyone has their flaws.

I know Sundance said that increasing the prize pool was "up to us" as in buying the stream upgrade or a shirt. If I decide to upgrade the stream OR buy a shirt, how will they know I'm doing so because I'm wanting to support SC2?
