No Geoff... Don't know how I feel about this, he was easily the funniest/most entertaining pillar on the show. He made the right choice as he got a ton of hate but I have a bad feeling the show just won't feel the same.

dApollo and QXC is awesome. Not as familiar with Tod, but really excited for this upcoming show. Thursday is a great day as well-- 4pm is a tad early, but there are VODs and I can completely understand making a Europe friendly time slot.

News about Geoff and Sean is pretty expected. Really great that Artosis and Nony will be on when possible.

JP, thanks for taking the time to do this. You talk about Geoff dealing with crap all the time, but you deal with a fair bit yourself, and this thread was getting downright fucking vile. Mad props, the silent majority all loves you. Hopefully this news will be like an open window and the fucking mold will die off in the fresh air.

Sounds great JP. Tod really is a great character and fits perfectly. Didnt expect Artosis to be back. So great news. Taylor is also always great esp when it comes to gameplay discussion. Apollo is also a GREAT addition. I´m really looking forward to the new shows !!

You might also wanna consider approaching Khaldor in the future. It seems he is always interested in anything that has to do with sc2 and he has some korean scene inside knowledge and is just all around a funny and charismatic guy.

I guess now its up to the community to show the people on the show its worth their time. And that can be done with big viewer numbers ! SO TUNE IN !!!

Ok, I'm glad incontrol isn't a pillar anymore, and I actually hope he gets his own show as a host. I'm not trying to BM or insult incontrol, but there were a lot of moments where it seemed like Geoff couldn't handle not being part of the show for extended periods of time. (Remember the interrupting abacus?) Incontrol is much better as a host or co-host, he's always fantastic with 2GD, he did an outstandingly funny video with IdrA recently, he's a funny guy if the format revolves around him getting most or all of the spotlight.

Not being a pillar will be great for Incontrol's career, great for SotG, and great for esports.

Incontrol, you're always going to be bothered by trolls. Not being on the show isn't going to change that. But not being on the show will definitely remove a lot of its charm and excitement. Sure the trolls give you shit, but you've always been able to take it, and I bet most of them actually find you entertaining. Hope to see you back soon.

The tone and feel of the show is going to drastically shift. Can't honestly say I'm too excited about the new line up, especially with QXC being the resident HOTS go to guy about balance. Lets just hope no one takes him too seriously, I mean this is the guy that argued that 5 rax reaper was fine, snipe was completely balanced insta-gibbing 200/200 of T3 and that Zerg was OP when we called GSL "GOMTvT". I really do like Kevin as a person but my god, some of his views on balance are either hilarious or delusional.

Looking so much forward to the ACTUAL state of the game, not just random drama and attention whoring. Talking about ingame content, strategies and new shifts in the metagame. Drama and stuff is ofc. always nice to have on the show, but bringing back state of the game content really gives everything a lift again (IMO).
The chat solution is IMO brilliant. Keep the trolls out and in general get a better show.
And btw NonY, Artosis and Qxc together is going to be fantastic regarding any kind of sotg content! Brilliant people all of them!

In general looking really much forward to it! The only thing is the unfortunate but understandable absence of iNcontrol.

I feel like the idea of the chat going sub only is going to completely turn me off. I was a big fan of MANvsGAME until it went down that road. They end up turning chats into pay-only circlejerks, which i feel is even worse then just outright trolls to ban. Glad to see the show coming back but can't feel incredibly excited about it.

Haven't posted in a while, but this is important enough for me to log in and express myself.

To Geoff "Incontrol": you really need to come back to the show. You're a big part of SOTG and the most entertaining individual to a large portion of the viewership including myself. It's because you're very popular (and sometimes controversial with your opinions) that you have received more attention from trolls than is typical of the other hosts. However, this show is important to a lot of people and it won't be the same without your input and humor.

Here's to hoping you change your mind Geoff.

After Day9 left, I pretty muched stop watching the show, the dynamic that the pillars had lost its appeal to me.

It will be interesting to see how the new pillars work out, how they interact etc, I'm also interested to see how much of a hit the viewership will take, if at all, or if it grows with the new pillars.

I'm glad the show will be back and I'm curious how it's going to play out. I'm both sad to see Sean and Geoff go but it it might be the best thing for them. Apollo, Tod, and QXC should be good for the first episode though.

For the subscriber chat thing that's probably a good idea. I don't post in the chat or read the chat but it seems like the hosts always do and are distracted by it. And I'm guessing 90% or more of the people who watch the show aren't the kind of people whose opinions are spouted by the idiots in chat.
