It's not like that. I believe JP and the other guys want to do the show. Also I believe the crowd wants to see it. The problem is where those two meet. I think the hosts (thanks guys) want to do a more professional show. Partially out of pride, and partially for sponsorship money (not necessarily for yourselves, don't take that wrong). They just wanna make a good show, and they're (probably mostly JP?) are working toward that, but deals are falling through. The frustrated community fans just want a chilled, relaxed, atmosphere where a few players/personalities come together with JP and just talk. Talk about the scene, talk about strategy, talk about you know, whatever. This kind of show doesn't require a lot of pre-planning and effort. I just don't think it's what the hosts want the show to be. But it's what the frustrated people want. That's why they're frustrated. They're saying "How can it be so hard to just find a free couple hours and sit around and talk?" But the hosts are saying "We want to make awesome content, without a bunch of fluff, it takes time, time we currently don't have" Tell me if I'm wrong

Idra and Incontrol have the time to be on OneMoreGame regularily. JP has the time to play and stream different roleplaying games. They should have the time, and I suspect it's just JP not wanting to focus on it right now. I would love for the show to finally come back, but it's been a long time and I'm slowly losing interest.

That's never going to work. Without Grubby (who's in Korea) there's not even 10% of the State of the Game star-power in Europe.

Get White-Ra in and you are guaranteed to have a good show. Get HasuObs in for the analysis part, he is really good with stuff like that. Then you can get Apollo as another pillar. Regular guests could be guys like Totalbiscuit, 2gd and other community persons (Carmac for example) and of course there are a lot of great players who all speak English. Presenting like one new up&coming player per show could be really cool as well because there are a lot of good new players who nobody really nows much about, for example get JohnnyRecco, Sortof, Vortix. If someone like Kaelaris would invest the time to set up an European SotG he could easily make an awesome show. It just takes a huge commitment of time and work to set everything up.

Well if you could have like a European SOTG with the help of the GD studio, having people like Apollo and 2GD I think it has potential. It won't be the same as this SOTG though. So it's probably wrong to call it SOTG. Maybe Totalbiscuit.. Europe has only a few people who can fit into the entertainment side of this scene, but that doesn't mean it cannot work.

But ur to lazy to focus on it(Yeah ur to busy with other stuff, streaming some stupid WoW Raids).Just another example of people wasting thier potential. SotG is(was) the Esports/SC Show with the highest viewer base, but that is probably not enough. for some people. This! I would like to know the real reason why there is no Sotg. Time is not an issue for JP anymore, same goes for the pillars. Either JP is lazy or greedy. Cant see any other reason. User was temp banned for this post.

I wont miss SotG tbh, for me show was never about serious talk about accual state of the game, I listen/watch it mainly for laughs that iNcontrol provide (thank you sir) and day9 when he was regual on the show and had time for SotG. When show was audio only and regular cast was on it, that was the best time for SotG, was made purely from passion. Then sponsors came, all the shit with MLG and JP being MLG employe ect., then Day9 drop out. Imo its for the best...RIP SOTG

I know I know, that would require you to make an intelligent and informed statement, when it's more fun to just insult someone and get a reaction from people ![]()

If not then you are not in a position to claim that he was the reason why the show was cancelled. Maybe it's not even about him? Calling people out for being lazy or greedy is just plain stupid if you don't have all the facts. This just spreads rumors that places people in a bad light for no reason. This problem has came up very much recently and it sickens me. Thanks to baseless claims by few the rest of us looks stupid as well and we might miss out of good content from the talent we have because we discourage them.

Thanks to baseless claims by few the rest of us looks stupid as well and we might miss out of good content from the talent we have because we discourage them. All I and alot of others want, is a reason why our favorite show is gone. And when there is no reason, ofc there will be speculation and rumors. I know my statement came out a bit harsh, but it is the word on the street. JP could easily explained the situation to people, but he doesnt. Instead he streams old wow achievements and makes a new dailyshow where he reads results from liquipedia. Even in his recent video "about me", there is not one mention about SotG. But he states that there will be alot of wow streaming in the future. You guys have to understand that this makes SotG fans frustrated.

The big difference I think is, they are getting paid for doing ITG. The exposure they got from SOTG wasnt really worth it for them. I dont have the viewer numbers (another big problem JP not catering to the eu viewers, I mean 4am or 5am in central europe wont bring huge viewercounts) but Idra or Incontrol prob get more viewers just streaming.

State of the game was contacted a while back about getting a great deal ( I do not know what that deal pertains) and since then it has been in motion. As this is a big company their dealing with (which they will not name, but I think it is fair to suspect CBS which has Giantbomb) things do not move that fast when it has to be looked over by legal and there are a lot of different things to sort through. In summary : They will be back. They will be funded. CHILL THE FUCK OUT
