Last time I checked Corruptors lag behind Mutalisks a lot if you are chasing Phoenixes with Muta/Corruptor. The same reason why you don't add in Corruptors to fight Mutalisks in ZvZ, Corruptors can't chase fast air units well enough. You'd have to be really careful to keep the Corruptors defending the Mutalisks effectively against Phoenixes.
I'll give you that it won't fix the vs muta econ and map control issues when you put a range upgrade on the fleat beacon, but saying that it doesn't even matter because corruptors exist is silly for the mobility side of things.

And with them, protoss just play so greedy that terran/zerg ( but mainly terran ) can't hope to play a macrogame against them.
