I guess the new time slot makes it more accessable for the east coast, but imho this will have no influence on european membership as that is till 1 a.m. on a thursday night (and no I'm not offended by that, obviously I'd love to be able to watch live, but I still love the show when I watch the vods).

It takes time and effort to stream the video, get everyone connected and have topics to talk about. Production is hard and we are lucky the guys do it for free. However, they all have professional lives and any time spent on the show is time that could be spent training, with friends, wives or girlfriends. A little extra cash for the streaming hardwear and for my perma-frost vodka always helps. Or we can just wait until the guys no longer have time for a free podcast and it just ends because they have to do other things?

Have you considered what else they could be doing with that time? Maybe doing another show that pays them? Or working on a side project that earns them money in another way? Reading? Taking their wife/girlfriend on a date? Cooking? Have you considered that they may become so busy that they no longer have the time to do the free podcast?

On top of that gear can break, I'd be nice if they had some money to replace said gear without them having to pay for it themself.

You make it sound like they don't enjoy this and that they're sacrificing their lives to the show for only the spectators. I'm not against a sponsorship, I just wanted to know why or what is it for?

If we can make some money for ourselves while doing something great that should be fine. Additionally we can do cool stuff on the show and increase production value if we aren't doing it out of pocket It's like you are afraid or something to hear us say we want to get paid for things.. is that really the case?

I'd still probably want more details of what subscribers would get and what the money would be used for by JP but I'm far more inclined to dontate to help out with production things/replacing parts/etc. I'm really stoked for this to be back though. My favorite podcast ever.

Get paid for something you love to do 4. Replace broken shit 5. Get paid for something you love to do
