Everyone seems to hilariously fail to understand the situation. Apply this to many things in life where revenue isn't generated at the consumer.
We want the shows to be reliable, when they are aired and when they are uploaded.
We want interesting guests, we want interesting topics, we want a well made show.
We want a good show so many people will watch it.
They want people to go to MLG.tv.
They want people to spread the show via word of mouth, social media and push MLG.
They want exposure to put announcements to a greater audience.
They want as many viewers as possible, so they try to make a good show.
Can't you see they co-exist? We, the audience, are indirectly funding and making it possible through viewer-ship. They want this, and they want to make attractive content for their site.
Should this mean people should critique it? Of course. Should this mean people should have expectations? Of course. Should this mean people either go over the top and throwing their proverbial poop around when those expectations aren't met (quality, guests, comments, time to upload)? No.
It's context. Never, either taking it to either extreme "OMFG WHERE IT IS JP U LAZY" or "guys stop complaining about getting FREE STUFF zomg", is ever a good thing. This is pretty much comparable through-out everything in life, and on the internet people like to jump to excessive conclusions and opinions.
You know what gets you what you want? Not looking like a complete moron and using your head. Vehemently taking one side too strongly and using pretty amazingly shocking analogies (BBC is public broadcasting, deriving revenue and funding through a license fee which totally changes the model it has for how and what demands they must fulfil and how broad the content they provide must be to encapsulate everyone, not just any demographic) is a pretty damn good way to get ignored.
Everyone has the fundamental right to be offended, shocked, disappointed, etc. But that's all it is, a right to feel that way. That right extends no further, your right to be upset never affects my right to do whatever it is that upset you (out of obvious legal/moral grounds).
TL;DR: Constructive criticism, well written complaints, vote with your viewership

my bbc analogy was purely to point out that adverts dont define tv and that payment for things can come in many different forms. bringing in the differences in content is irrelevant.

Also I just realized that if they were the Power Rangers, Day9 would be the Green Ranger, because he's not always there, but you feel as though the team is complete when he is. JP is definitely the Blue Ranger, Incontrol Red, Tyler Black, and Artosis is Zordon.

Ok, so, to be truthful i am not a die hard fan of yours, however nobody can deny that you love the game and are really passionate about it. You get really involved with the community, participate on various initiatives and you even have a gazilion posts in here.
Why not make your own show? You participating in other people shows doesnt really add up when you are obviously much more involved then them, i dont wanna get banned, but lets be honest if JP and DjWheat werent talking about SC2 they would be talking about some other game out there.
I assume you must have the resources being on EG and all, heck you could even make an EG team show, no need to plug in your team on someone else´s show, run sponsor ads during breaks ´n crap, thats some good stuff right there.
