Yep, JP clearly needs some help with running the administrative bits like updating the thread/blog/TL calendar/etc. with relevant information as soon as possible. I'd volunteer to do it but since the show is affiliated to MLG it's probably a bit more complicated.

It is time to move back to mp3 version, like old good times... Except for the fact that one of the main reasons the show even still exists is because of MLG, and JP's employment therein.

And you could still upload to blip and just go with mlg a whole week later (think of this last part with incontrol's blizzard mocking tone). Also, just encode at around 1200 kbps and you won't even have to ever split the files, unless you do like a 5 hour cast, the show is basically a static image with maybe 20% of it actually changing. It will look good at whatever resolution and bitrate you want to use. Yeah, 4GB per hour is totally overkill here.

Now, it is entirely possible that at the present some or all of the hosts would opt to do something else with their time if they had to contribute to it for free (assuming they're getting paid at the moment). However, this doesn't mean that the show isn't possible without MLG and it also doesn't mean that the hosts don't benefit from being part of it even without receiving a paycheck. Still, I don't think that MLG hosting SotG is really that problematic. I'm sure the technical bits will be taken care of, so there's no need to focus too much on it. And it's not like SotG take a softer approach when discussing MLG because of the sponsorship because they have always been really soft on everyone anyway. Frankly, I can not imagine a talk show that discusses the actual problems and controversies in the SC2 scene in depth while providing a quality product at the same time being produced in the near future. This is not what SotG is and this is absolutely fine.
