I don't know, that answer just really was weird to me. Players are not supposed to give answers about their situation/reasons to do certain things because they belong to teams? Uhm... I bet most players in any sport that just "leave the field" after the first set/half time/whatever give a statement themselves or the team does it... Just giving "no" statement (and at the same time kinda disaproving the leagues statement) seems extremely weird to me? I'm sure there is a reason for the "no comment" policy of tyler/teamliquid... But something like "due to a private emergency tyler was unable to participate in g2..." (or whatever, even if it's a lie) should be possible? Btw: I really enjoyed this Sotg, nice "work" ![]()

The last time they did that was what, like 20+ episodes ago? Stand-in's for pillars that don't show doesn't count. Just gets some fresh opinions and interactions in the show that I'm not used to.

No discredit to the people that brought Sotg to where it is now, but I also agree fresh faces every so often would be cool. The Demuslim guest episode in particular comes to mind. He knows Europe, is well articulated and is an incredible Terran player. More of these stand-ins/guests would go a long way to keeping things as good as they have been in the past. I just often feel a little too "MLG'd" or "Protossed" these days.

I agree that they spend too much time making predictions though. Anyway it is still a good show.

He's in your house and he's apparently staying the night, just keep him around the rest of the show and let him talk when he has something to say or someone involves him in the conversation. What's wrong with that? It seems like JP doesn't even really like doing the podcast anymore. He mutes the chat and tells them that they "make him not want to produce the show anymore." The conversation topics are more dull than they used to be. Whenever I watch I now have to sit through 10 commercials that half the time I can't even mute. During the actual meat of the show it's just JP expecting his hosts to talk about things in sequence (and getting frustrated when they don't) rather than actually having a conversation. Kind of frustrating to watch now. Well, stream chats are the bane of humanity. I mean, when I read a stream chat about a stream I don't care about, that makes me shameful of being human, so I imagine how it feels when it's actually your own stream's chat...

All these "OMG WHERES THE VODS IM GONNA DIE" "OMG INCONTROL IS SO ANNOYING DIAMOND LEVEL ANALYSIS" "OMG WTF NO GUESTS WTF" comments are fucking ridiculous. What the fuck is wrong with you people. Try to be grateful for a change. If you spend time getting angry or obsessing about how your needs aren't being met instead of realizing that free shit is nice to have, go find something else to do. Jesus.

Yeah well, sometimes the best way to respond is with silence and let the issue die on it's own. I think that's a good idea, considering nobody is going to care if there isn't any EG-eque drama from statements. Or the fact that sometimes JP needs to get some fucking rest and it's not his fault that he couldn't upload the VOD for your viewing pleasure? Jesus. Some people --; They put SOTG on some sort of pedestal, when it's just a bunch of d00ds talkin sc yo. And you can appreciate it's beauty as it is. Also: the MP3 is good and perfectly acceptable folks, listen to it.
