It's crazy how quickly this thread devolved back into the usual crap.
It's not a good SOTG if you can't look in the thread afterwards and see a shitstorm.

Aren't the mlg groups made by the ranking system?
Why are they saying MLG should spread out the groups?

Slush the American plays MLG.

Now you get it!
Great episode of SOTG imo. Wasn't the funniest or the most ground breaking but I really enjoyed watching it. Talking about BW was really interesting for a change.

It's like rain on your wedding day. It's a free ride when you've already paid. It's the good advice that you just didn't take. Who would've thought ... it figures.

Enjoyed the show. Too bad a German didn't get the "humor" (cover me in chocolate and call me surprised) and had to play the racist-card (which I find ironic in an uncomfortable way..). Less whine and more yodel please.

Hold on, Hold on... To those complaining about the EU jokes.... Have you guys ever watched a world cup, or been to a game? People are far far more ruthless than these guys were.

Why does Day9 use "like" so much, its pretty annoying.

I would love it if you guys could discuss the current state of protoss. I remember when day 9 and idra had a long conversation about ZvP and Zerg in general when it was doing poorly. Now protoss is doing worse than any other race ever in the history of SC2 in the GSL and in other tournaments it seems like. So having a small discussion about the future of protoss or what the core problem surrounding protoss feels like would be cool to hear. I know people complain the show is about "the state of protoss" instead of game at times but right now I feel it would be an extremely topical and interesting discussion to take place.
Thanks for reading my suggestion :D
I want some lights and glimmers of hope to come out of a discussion hopefully as well.

... I can't understand how anyone could be offended by the european jokes. They weren't even harsh ...

Same here; I don't get why so many people make a fuss about it. It is more like a joking game to me: SotG hosts show cluelessnes about some european players -> they get bashed on the forums for it -> instead of sulking they react joking how important and good EU players are. Nothing offensive in it really.

Hey man, they called your players the best in the world! Thats so fucking rude. If someone called my favorite players the best in the world, well, I would just kick their ass! So uncalled for.
oh wait...

Their humor is pretty alright for a non-Korean, non-European podcast tbh. You can't really expect any better.

Wasn't the funniest or the most ground breaking but I really enjoyed watching it. Talking about BW was really interesting for a change. Now that I have seen the whole episode I must say that the broodwar part was excellent, especially because I remember most of the games the guys were talking about. On the other hand I felt pretty depressed when sc2 was compared to broodwar and it suddenly felt lacking ...
I love a lot of the humor on the show btw, I would probably not watch it otherwise. Indeed, I miss Incontrol's mastermind-trolling on tl.net. I just felt the Euro-jokes are overdone by now when I listened to the first part of the show yesterday. And yes, Idra can be funnier than Incontrol (sometimes, and to me that is).

the weirdest thing is that this actually makes me feel european. sc2 is trully getting europe closer together than it ever has been. blizzard a nobel prize maybe? xD

Or drawing sides for WW3.

I think the issue here is more that the jokes weren't particular funny than they were offensive. It was a bit amusing the first time but then it went on and on. Almost felt like watching Family guy.
Also I wouldn't be too proud of being ignorant if I was Incontrol.
