As I mentioned previously, calling something a joke implies it is devoid of any seriousness. Given that SirScoots thinks EG is serious business, he might feel inclined to see it as an insult albeit a mild one.

I actually agree with what you are saying; but can I ask why a company should care if IdrA is as he is?
Not only has his personality brought more fans than haters, the fact that he acts like a dick most of the times does not mean that the products that are sponsoring IdrA are dicks aswell.

They could still talk about other tournaments. There is no other tournament in NA that competes with MLG as it is a LAN event. MLG sponsorship would mean SOTG would be around for a long time.

Obviously someone like Tyler isn't going to call EG a joke without good reason. I think it's pretty clear that SirScoots does not want Incontrol/Idra on SOTG which is a huge slap in the face for the community. I guess I would understand more if he wasnt such a shady person and straight up said "Yeah I don't want them on SotG because of sponsor issues/doesn't want competition with OneMoreGame." Instead he doesn't even address the issue and his only remark in this thread is a sarcastic remark which tries to make it seem like he thinks he is innocent and taking a defensive stance. Whereas the reality is he may potentially deprive the community from their favorite podcast.
Also, in the skype screenshot "I sure hope this doesn't appear on stream hahah" comment seems weird. He may be responsible for not letting Inc be a main host on SotG but doesn't want people to know this... Tyler's opinion on the professionalism of EG is justified in my opinion.
Anyways, I'm sure JP will make an announcement about whats happening soon. Thanks Tyler for fighting for SotG. No other podcast or show could replace it. Hopefully we see it come back with the same crew <3

Incontrol leaves SotG to have more practise time.
Scoots says it's no problem if he wants to still join in occasionally.
Sooo we get (at least some) Incontrol on SotG. Which for most people, is probably a good thing.

Ads are far less intrusive and not deceptive at all compared to lying about why a person/team is not allowed on state of the game.

i thought it was pretty obvious, he discussed his reasons for leaving in several different places and from what i took from all of it was more of a "just trust me in my decision to leave" more than "well i just need more time".
Personally i think that the reason he did leave is irrelevant, the way he handled it was about as good as it could be given the situation and the mass community involvement with the issue.
if i was a weatherman on tv and i had to leave because of a condition that had me involuntarily get a boner everytime i stood up i wouldnt tell everyone that specifically as my reason for leaving because that would cause more harm then good.
Edit: also im not implying anything, this is how id view this kind of situation, true or not
