Was all that scraped or was it just delayed and going to happen now? Will be interesting to see what will happen to the show after the break.
JP needed a place to host the archives and as a friend to JP and a fan of the show, I helped him out during his transition to a new host.
When OneMoreGame.tv was being developed (during our last break and prior) - I absolutely wanted to try to get SotG under OneMoreGame.tv because it seemed to be a perfect fit for the content that was already being produced (NOTE: This was my desire and not necessarily something that was in process). Unfortunately due to timing and developments across all of Pro-Gaming (specifically with SC2), it's a much different situation than it was even 6 months ago.

The poll is rigged! It has Demuslim twice.

Sadly, that won't be possible! IdrA would not be a good replacement for Geoff, because he doesn't carry a discussion like Geoff can. Incontrol can go on about a topic for 15 minutes, with humor, and then reach a balanced conclusion - which makes for a great show. IdrA will give you a no nonsense, direct answer in one minute, but if he is not interested in the topic or feels he doesn't have anything new to add - he will say that right away and all but kill the discussion. Geoff sometime was just too much, taking 60 to 70% of the talk, trolling when someone was not agreeing with him. JP will have to prepare more without him, but his loss is not entirely a bad thing, sometime he was just too much imo.

Demuslim and White-ra would BOTH be excellent choices either of them would be a great addition to the show. I hope its one of them!

Geoff, thanks and I'll miss you. Good times man, good times.

I want him to bloody practice his arse off instead, and go back to his beta glory. One of the few terrans I always enjoyed watching and rooted for. In all seriousness though, he would be a great addition to the show. I don't think WhiteRa would work though, I mean, as great as the interviews are a two hours podcast might be a bit too much.

Yeah, uhm, the thing is, I wasn't trying to be sarcastic. I'm dead serious, I like it more if there is no actual discussion, because balance discussion is fruitless anyway, and with four people agreeing on their race being the weakest, at least it leads to ridiculously bold statements that are fun sometimes.

I never said it wouldn't be relevant, I said it wouldn't be good for the show.
If the best part of the show for you is when they discuss balance, then State of the Game probably isn't the right show for you in the first place. All 3 SotG pillars (Tyler, Sean and Geoff) have the same attitude to balance, and the big part of that attitude is not whining about it - the other big part is making fun of people that do.
I don't give a shit which race a new SotG regular plays (if there even is a new sotg regular), as long as he's not confrontational and does not see representing his race as his main role in the show. I'd rather not sit through more nightmare episode segments like the "Banshee versus DT" and "Zerg can't scout".
It's a community podcast, not a balance tribunal. It needs 3 pillars of the community, preferably people who already have community presence, not a triumvirate of judges to grind out balance topics.
It doesn't have to be a progamer in the first place. I'd rather have Hot_Bid or Chill at this point.

zerg can't scout i can understand, he was being very serious about it, but the banshee vs DT was just hilarious. No one was whining, just PU preferred one unit and everyone laughed at that so he tried to explain, and failed utterly. Just funny stuff.
also, aside from the laughs, the most interesting part of SOTG is when they discuss strategy, new stuff like that. Hot_bid and Chill are entertaining, but i don't see them going too much in-depth in those instances.

When I say I like it most it doesn't include I hate the rest. And for me the Show name not only stands for a lot of random blabla and going through recent results of leagues and of course 20 min shout outs but also for the actual STATE of the GAME in therms of balance and actual dominating strats or strats at all. And by talking balance I dont mean like whine about it like the 4 Protoss did it actually but rather discuss it like idra tried a few eps ago and got shut down by day9s not existent arguments.

Do you really think Tyler and Sean want to talk about balance on SotG at all, let alone talk about it regularly?
My bet would be - hell no.
Of course they shut down and/or laughed away any serious attempt at debating balance, it's basically the only reasonable way to deal with it.

Lol oh god adding demuslim would be amazing, unless you happen to play zerg, but he lives in Germany so it might not be feasible time zone wise.

They should be talking about balance! Unless they happen to be discussing the balance of Protoss! Or unless they happen to be Day9 and disagreeing with the premises of the argument! In fact, they should only have anything on the show if it happens to be Idra explaining to everyone how crappy Zerg is.
