The most likely scenario is he won't be around Tuesday nights. What will he be doing? I don't know! But we'll find out soon.
As for the Scoots & Idra things. Scoots knows why but can't say (think NASL and the like) and Idra has his own schedule (he was casting EG Master's cup Monday night, so all JP did was confirm he'd be free), so neither of those statements mean anything.
It's like people have forgotten everything that happened with announcements of announcements earlier in the year, lol.
Well, from the way he was talking and saying that he has hardly been practicing lately due to everything he's had on, I think it's more likely he just doesn't have enough time to do SotG anymore.
He is already doing alot of stuff, and considering he also said he will have alot of time to practice for MLG I definitely think he is just freeing up time in his schedule for SC2.

it`s really sad to see incontrol leave sotg and yes it is highly likely this decision is based on the fact that he is in a very similar show (inside the game). But well thats life. Incontrol choose to take part in the newer show and now leave the old one. What exact points motivated him has to care nobody but himself. On a personal note I checked ITG one or two times, but I found myself turn it off very fast, whereelse I often watched the whole SotG as VoD. The atmosphere is different ... it feels like I sit in a circle of friends who talk about something everybody likes. Anyways gl Incontrol. I`m a fan of yours.

Huk would be a terribad choice. Sotg is already full of protoss, we need a terran or a zerg player so that things even out.

Which race somebody plays is hardly relevant for SotG.

He is moving to the EG teamhouse, and by getting to do that he have to concentrate on playing the game. A shocker for some, kind of basic for most. He is on EG to play and perform in tournaments.
But I would also like to have some of the esport millions that djWheat has hidden under miniWheats pillow

Well, when all 4 of them are protoss the ACTUAL state of the game talk is just not fun to listen to.

It's not really about having a discussion on the actual "state of the game", at least not in a fair way. For me it's a 100% a having fun show.

Just listen to the latest episode and you notice how hard its relevant to have players of several races on SotG. On the other hand the most I like on this show is when they talk about balance and all races have a voice. The current show was the worst to listen to cause its only P whine and they are the least race allowed to whine its just ridicules....

Prior to ITG being created, I would have loved to see PainUser or IdrA replace Geoff, as they've been the most informative, animated, humorous guests. Sadly, that won't be possible!

Sorry I dont want to start a balance discussion here lets just say I cant stand 4 Protoss whine about balance on such a big show without a counterpart.

I think balance discussions are significantly more awesome when it's four players of the same race whining to their hearts content without a counterpart. (I'm no Protoss, just to be clear.)

Yeah, your sacrasm didn't come off clearly enough! ;p
I wholeheartedly agree though, all protoss discussion is not very great to listen to.

Sadly, that won't be possible! IdrA would not be a good replacement for Geoff, because he doesn't carry a discussion like Geoff can. Incontrol can go on about a topic for 15 minutes, with humor, and then reach a balanced conclusion - which makes for a great show. IdrA will give you a no nonsense, direct answer in one minute, but if he is not interested in the topic or feels he doesn't have anything new to add - he will say that right away and all but kill the discussion.
