The atmosphere of the podcast wasn't super serious and hostile, it's just a bunch of guys messing around and having fun, Geoff just rolled with the moment and had a good laugh or few. thats not very nice of you ![]()

You can take your national pride and shove it up your ass. The guy was making a joke.

That being said, when you're looking for a new pillar, I think it has to be somebody from BW. I just think that's where the chemistry and best stories come from. The fact that Inc, Day9, IdrA, and Tyler have known each other so long is what allows for so many good stories from the past to come out. I think it also HAS to be a player. Hot_Bid is an awesome guest, but I think if they're not a player the community can't accept anything they add to discussions about the game, even if they make valid points. The only non-bw'er I can think of who I think could make a fine addition is CatZ (was he a bw'er? not to my knowledge, but I could be wrong). He's articulate and funny and has been a big enough face in the community to warrant having on. late edit: I also used to like Naniwa, then I kinda' stopped caring for him, and then after last night's SotG and his talk afterward while watching HuK stream made me a huge fan again. Guy is hilarious. For anybody who hasn't seen it, HuK's stream after SotG was some really, really funny shit.

I think you're missing the point. It was basically a joke about computer gaming nerds. It just happened to be Naniwa who was on the show and JP just happened to make a comment about "Why are there so many good Swedish players?" iNControL could have replaced "Sweden" and its people with any other country--including the US.

He's a damn good Terran, he played BW (as zerg but still), and he has a pretty awesome personality imo. I think he would fill the role nicely :D but also, lol, we're debating in this thread about who would be ideal to take the spot when in reality, progamers are really busy and we'll be lucky with whoever we get (if we get a new pillar at all)

Wow, Geoff really will be impossible to replace... maybe Chill could join? Again not a player, but a great podcaster and super bright guy. I wouldn't mind seeing PainUser being a pillar :D:D love that guy
