Why are people here fighting over the definition of cheese? You're trying to define a video game term that doesnt even exist in real language, sounds kinda silly
There is no solid definition, anyone can have their own definition of it.

If games don't go over 5 minutes you got cheesed because your opponent wasn't good enough to play your legitly. Which is maybe why I haven't seen a single replay of IdrA where he DOESN'T cheese ? (Ok I lied, maybe i've seen 3 or 4 on the 50 or so games I've seen from him...) Even the most unknown casters of the darkest pits of internet are starting to call it "typical IdrAge" when a scrub fails his cheese and starts to rage... so... meh.. lol ;-) Lol. Do you know what cheese is? I've never seen a game in sc2 or sc1 where idra went all in at all. wow. do YOU even know what cheese is? seriously all you sc2 noobs dont know what the difference between cheese and all-in is and its making me rage hardcore, especially when playing games all-in is when a player does an all in'ish attack that the player has no plans for a follow-up. if the attack fails then he fails cheese is when a player does a strategy that relies on almost entirely on secrecy, if scouted then the strategy becomes immensely easier to counter and win PLEASE LEARN THE FKIN DIFFERENCE IF YOUR GOING TO USE THOSE TERMS FOR EXAPMLE, A V RAY RUSH IS NOT CHEESY OR ALL-IN. THERE ARE PLENTY OF TRANSITIONS OUT OF A VOIDRAY RUSH. -_- There are millions of definitions regarding 'cheese', the only one anyone can agree on is the one that goes well with wine. IdrA does cheese, occassionally. Watch his second game vs Masq on HDStarcrafts (I believe it was HD's) channel. of course, u go for 4chan. way to credit yourself no, you dont get it kid, that is what the definitioins of cheese, and all-in are. ask any veteran SC player, hell ill ask idra to back me up, i know what im talkin about this is assuming we are talking about rts games (starcraft definately, i dont play any other rts games to know if the word applies to their games), if your talking about food (wine? rofl) then your in the wrong forum. go back to 4chan idra doesnt cheese, he does occasional all-ins when thats his only choice, but his style is just hardcore macro, same as mine The term 'cheese', while it does have a meaning its' been lost because everyone seems to have their own definition of it these days. A bit like tech switching. There is no ultimate definition of cheese, because it's used so widely these days. I'm just not going to comment on the rest of your post, just assuming you woke up on the wrong side this morning. yes there is a definition of cheese. i just told you guys it watching vid now HAHAHA you think a baneling bust is cheese? HAHAH, its cheesy but its not cheese (yes there is a difference). its more all-in then anything else you seem to be very mis informed about rts terms in general. imgoing to just assume your ignorant because your bronze and new to sc2 i dont know why you linked that video, it showed nothing of value edit: HAHA just watched the ending. even the commentator agrees that this play of idras was just "cheesey" owned yourself gg nore You seem to be unable to understand that words can evolve, and when pretty much everyone has their own definition of a word it simply loses its' original value. You're essentially arguing "I'm right you're wrong", which will only get you so far. If I was bronze or not would not make a difference, nor do you have any idea if I'm bronze or diamond. Ad-hominem attacks based on zero facts are fun and necessary, yes? amongst the high tier players, aka people like veteran sc players, high diamonds, etc, the defintion of cheese is only truly lost with noobs like you guys who dont know what cheese is. they hear someone cry cheese when they lose to something, so they immediately throw the word around without knowing what it is, and that is what causes confusion. if people like you had any education at all and realize its extremly ignorant to throw words around you don't know cheese is exactly what (day9) and i said it was. when idra loses to something does he say it was cheese? no, he doesnt (unless it actually was cheese). he says what he lost to and doesnt use the word cheese. ur skill level? i dont need to go ask for your ID to know that your ignorance of sc2 in general points me to that you are either near gold/silver level, or your higher but have only got there with something retardedly stupid like mass marines with stim (yes you can get to diamond like that, my older brother has, and he still doesnt think its a bad build) *sigh* You bring up Day9 to back up your points, yet your philosophy is extremely different from his. Listen to the State of the Game podcasts and hear him talk about tech switching, he states over and over again that he believes it's a useless term because it's thrown around enough for it to lose its' original purpose. Same principle here. If you have your definition of 'cheese' and people understand it you can use it of course, but don't go insulting eveyrone who disagrees with you. If you read my posts you'd know that I haven't actually disagreed with your definition, merely pointed out that it's not the be-all-end-all. Did I go out of my way to insult you? No, I didn't, yet you became extremely defensive. I'm just going to leave this 'discussion' here, as you're more interested in insulting my person with baseless claims than providing an actual argument.

First off most racing organizations have rules set up to specifically make the cars equal. You can measure every aspect of a race car to ensure its equality to another. We can’t have those exact comparisons with three different races that each perform in different ways. Race car manufacturers pay the drivers. They aren't going to shit talk the hand that feeds them. Analogies are one of the biggest pitfalls on the internet. If you can't explain something without trying to relate it to something else you need to learn how to better articulate your opinion. Shitty ass analogies just make you look stupid. Idra presents why he feels T is more powerful than Z/P very well. He cites many tournaments and explains why he feels the people winning with T are winning due to the race and not their skill. Use tournaments and pro gamers gaming history to back up your argument. For those bashing IdrA, he's stating his honest opinion, not "qqing" over Terran. He presents himself well in interviews which is something a lot of people cannot do. In the real world it's simply called being a SORE LOSER. IdrA never said he was going to lose... lol.

Yeah or maybe you are just crying trying to cling on to your OP race because you know it's the only way you will ever be able to win consistently? Which is why you keep posting here trying your very best trying to convince people that T is indeed not favoured against Z? Sad indeed. Why do people live in this illusion that Zerg has 100 different standard openings against Terran? Or Protoss for that matter. Maybe Idra is ''easy'' to figure out because Zerg doesen't really allow for a openings and BOs with much variation? Zerg is a reactionary race, we try to see what our opponents do, and try to counter it. Kigari, why don't you take your own advice. You claim there isn't imbalance, you claim lack of creativity is the issue. Why don't you prove us wrong. Show us numerous consistent ways to beat high level Terrans, ways we haven't thought of before. Sad fact is, your incapable of doing so, because all you can do is run your mouth, atleast Idra has skill and achievements behind him to back his claims up.

Second, I manage to down a good number of high level terrans in the top diamond, especially with zergs. Not my fault people don't use zerg abilities and then cry OP. All I know is that when you play zergs the way they should (run around everywhere, harass, burrow, etc), you can make short work of terrans. The only minor inconveniences would be early hellion & viking harass. Past that point all you have to do is use your infestors correctly and forbid the terran from putting his tanks in siege mode. Burrow at his expansions to make him waste scans, fungal growth his workers by sneaking an infestor, use corruption on his structures etc.... DO SOMETHING. With just 3 overseers you can cripple a terran's ability to make units for basically as long as you want to. All i've seen even some of the "top" zerg players do is mindlessly mass ONE unit. Mass zergling into mass roach into mass muta etc with zero creativity or unit diversity and then crying their strats don't work... Give me a fkin break....
