I've said this over and over and over again yet people seem to ignore a very large problem. SC2 is trying to get e-sports to be respectable in the west. The single best American player in the world at SC2 is a little child when he plays, deserves no respect for how he treats others, and just whines and throws around slander and bullshit all the time. Doesn't really help e-sports become respectable in any way. | ||

I mean I don't think anybody ever argued about his skills, everybody just despise his behavior and I mean to him these are personal attacks cuz his whole personal life revolves around starcraft, so in his right mind when he talks negatively of someone's starcraft skills it's clearly a personal attack | ||

Nobody here is saying that Zerg should win terran armies by just head butting into them, the problem here is that, pretty much every game that involves Terran and Zerg, the Terran has the upperhand severely. Mainly due to the fact that Terran has such a easy time defending against everything a Zerg can throw at him, and Zerg has such a hard time defending against anything a Terran throws at him. You can't be aggressive against a Terran unless it's all in and even then the Terran has the upperhand, So you sit down and ''camp'' because it's the only choice you got. Then you hope you got more shit / catch the Terran off position / it's not a map where Terran can abuse cliffs and try to win. It's just that simple most of the time. I was B- Zerg in BW, I played over 2000 games in phase 1, majority being Zerg and a few hundred being Terran, phase 2 I only played Terran to try and get better understanding of the race and what they are affraid of due to the imbalance I felt during the last few weeks of phase 1. I have massive experience on both sides, and I still haven't found a good consistent way of dealing with Terran. While for a Terran he can do a 15 different things and actually win through it. I'm 100% sure there is imbalance, because of 2 factors: unit design and bad maps. Damn this ended up being long anyway and will still probably fall on deaf ears, but what can you do. I'll keep playing Zerg even though it's getting boring to wait and watch how Blizzard will shaft us next. I'll keep laddering and trying to figure out ways to defeat Terran. Even if my statistics / rank suffer because of it. | ||

Why can't people just find it funny or amusing when there is nothing personal about it? You are all too serious. People trash talk all the time in various sports and competition. Lots of people love it. Lots of people love idra. It's probably actually good for e-sports but some people just love to make a big deal about stuff. And seriously, people blow it way out of proportion. In the vast majority of the games idra says nothing disrespectful. Idra GGs. But every once in a while he speaks his mind and omg he was disrespectful! How dare he just not be quiet and GG. It's such a big deal!
