Unfortunately, it's likely due to timing of when I recorded the data and when seasons reset since not everyone resets at the same time and I was busy during the S4 -> S5 transition.

It depends. It will attempt to update your name if it sees you in a division under a different name. There's no way to 100% know the instant someone renamed though so there are times that people might just drop through the cracks, especially during a season transition.
The "Rename" feature as Shade_CsT mentioned is the easiest and fastest way to make sure it gets your new name.

I am currently using the http://sc2ranks.com/api/mass/base/teams/ API
I am sending in batches of 100, because that is the limit. I cache all results for at least 3 hours (most much longer).
Recently I have been getting sporadic timeout errors. I assume there must be some kind of throttling going on here, as it's reproducible by sending the same query twice. Is this the case? After what time can ask for the same record? Is it 3 hours?

in the Team points and world ranking graph, Year 2012 is missing in the drop-down list to view the graph for a specific month. (ex. TitaN's profile).

If you're hitting timeout errors, you're sending too many requests overall and should throttle back or make quite a lot less requests.

Ah oops, meant to fix that but forgot. It's fixed now but might take a few hours from caching.

sc2ranks for some reason is down for me/won't load. Is it down for everyone else?

EDIT2: NVM again, it is still going ridiculously slow, to the point of not being able to use it :/

I had some problems two days ago as well where every other time my application tried to access sc2ranks it timed out. Because I was being stupid I did not understand why and spent an hour trying to fix it. Of course it was because one of the servers at sc2ranks timed out, the *.246 one. I remember having the same problem yesterday as well I think.

It sometimes wont load for me either, seems like the servers are down/slow. As if I F5 alot it works eventually. btw shadowed thx for this wonderful site!

It's an issue with one of the servers not having a port open it looks like. If you run into the issue due to DNS you can manually go to http://app03.sc2ranks.com and it should work.

It should be fixed and you shouldn't get random errors if you got stuck on app02 anymore.

Need a link to the page where you see this, I imagine they changed something in the formatting that has to be updated quickly.

Guessing Shadowed is on vacation or something similar and some error occurred on his server/application/database while he is away.
