Big fan of the site, I use it often to track my progress. I was wondering if there was a way that you could help me out. I haven't been able to get my achievements to update. It says it needs to be refreshed, but whenever I queue a refresh my achievements don't update. Can you look into it for me if you have the time? Is something wrong with the refreshing function? I've had the window up in my tabs all day at work, refreshing a few times, and it still says "Profile being refreshed..." My Profile Thanks for your help, the site is awesome. | ||

For performance and sanity, I'll be removing all match history and team history data for people who only played in S1 and not S2. Teams and team relations will be kept for the S1/S2 team displays. This is due to the approx ~5 million teams who have not played in S2 at all. There will be a general downtime of a few hours while I do some general maintenance and cleanup, as well as taking snapshots of S2 teams. This will happen around 10-11 PM Monday the 18th (The day before S3). | ||

Second, http://sc2ranks.com/ranks/all/diamond shows huk, rank 1 diamond US server (also rank 1 in the world in diamond) as having the region rank 13,326, when clearly he is rank 1. Furthermore, my profile says i'm 5,511 in the US in diamond, but if you actually find me on page 4 of the US diamond top list, i'm really rank 388 (though it still says region rank 5511 there too). This is the same rank it showed for me awhile ago when I had alot less points, so it appears that profiles rank updating is bugged in addition to w/e is causing the no graph / stats after june 24th. | ||

As I understand you extract ladder data from the blizzard website to get the player's current points, games won, division and division rank, and a few other things. Going to the Blizzard website, you can also find the amount of unspent bonus points a player has remaining (for instance here is mine unspent bonus pool Since bonus pool serves mostly to obfuscates a player's progress over time, and your site is often used to check progress over time, it would be beneficial to the users if you presented them with a graph of their unadjusted points over time. Calculating a player's unadjusted points is easy: Simply subtract the full amount of bonus pool given so far in the season to his current points, and add on the player's remaining unspent bonus pool. Note that this method also works when a player has 0 points on the ladder, because the smaller his unspent bonus pool size is, the deeper into negative unadjusted points number he is. Furthermore, adding this feature would allow you to rank players according to their unadjusted points (displaying such information as world rank and region rank), and avoid the noise factor that is added in by the varying degrees of bonus pools players have remaining at any given sampling time. Tracking this information would allow players to see their real skill change over time, as well as a more accurate representation of their rank. I can't speak for others, but for me personally this feature would be of great benefit. I can only suppose many others would feel the same. A possible counter argument to what I'm proposing might be that such a feature would confuse those who do not fully grasp how the ladder system works, and what is bonus pool function. If this argument is an issue, then I suggest the graph for unadjusted points be toggle-able from the graph screen, perhaps set to off by default. This way it would be clear that the graph is tracking something besides the points the player can see on his ladder screen. I hope you take this into consideration, as it is something I would love to see implemented. | ||
