(with glade maybe coming 2nd, as if glade beats redarchon/oxy he has to beat ice in two best of 3s to win.) he has absoutely no sc background and came from DOTA, but with a huge reputation as one of the best in the world. oh if ure wondering what our chat was at the start ice was saying its extremely strange playing me coz i do weird stuff and all the other toss on sea basically 4 gate into collosus, two things i never do lol. we had some other epic ladder games too bad i forgot to save them  That nidus usage was sexy. I guess maybe infestors would have helped? | ||

First, I have no pretensions of being good. I am going about .500 in bronze league - which is worst than I thought I would do. I have a friends in gold and silver leagues that I have more wins over. Whatever. So here is this game I am Z he is P. I go for 13 roach rush build (he initially picked random, so I thought the 13 pool would be a safe bet.) I scout the protoss walling off his choke and putting down a forge, so I decide to abandon the rush and macro up. I have all the chips in my favor. I took the gold, was always 1-2 bases up on the him, but I just could not put away his colossus+gateway troops. I built a some corrupters to take the col out, but it was never enough. The game consists of me throwing 2-3 different failed waves at his expo - the last one I even tried some banelings. Was my micro really that terrible? Should I have built up more corruptors to down his col faster? Should I have macroed up harder up until 160+ supply and just swarmed him one time or tried to flank him leaving his expo? Maybe tech infestors? I general micro/macro tips would also be appreciated. I have a long way to go, I know. [url blocked] | ||
